Thats a pretty small sample size. I dont think what we do now works or makes sense. What is your objection to the Indiana laws regarding voter ID...if any?

My objection is that if it isn't broke don't fix it. Currently there is not a problem of people getting their votes stolen.

As far as "we" that's irrelevant. If I show up to vote and someone stole my vote there is already a procedure. That is good enough.
If someone can steal your vote, then shouldn't we be doing something to prevent that? Its obviously not secure. A secure system has two levels, something that identifies your physical being, and something you know, so that there is a check on the other item.

The system works fine my vote has never been stolen and I know of no one that has had it happen. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

SCOTUS offered the opinion that we cannot ascertain if the current system is "broke" because its too damn easy to cheat it.

Again that sample size is entirely too small.

In VA, they are free if they are for a government entity...DMV, Court etc... Your ID is also free if you are financially unable to afford the actual state issued ID.

I dont know if anyone wants to see a Federal ID come into fruition, but many states are supplying state issued ID's at no cost.

We have hundreds of example of stolen votes. So you DO know of someone. Pew Research did a study which showed that there are millions of wrong voter information registrations in the country, including dead people.

In a country of over 300 million we have maybe hundreds of examples of stolen votes. No reason to wreck voting rights. The system isn't broken.
