If no one is looking into it what's there to fear?

    Proof of residency? check.

    Now you can vote.

British on a long holiday who rent an apartment could register to vote.
With the SCOTUS ruling the current format in Arizona (my home state) is to register in good faith. There just isn't the man power or resources to verify everyone's status.

We shoudl verify the citizenship status of voter registrations.

Either do it by requiring folks to bring proof of citizenship at the time of registration, or make the states do it on their own time.

But one way or the other we must verify that you have the ****ing right to vote.
but... but... but that would defeat the whole purpose of facilitating the registration of Democratic voters!

    How so?

Because it interferes with the registration of low-information and possibly fraudulent Democratic voters. Let's be honest.

How about just the citizenship status of new voters?

This is why we need a national ID card. Too bad Conservatives see this as the Mark of the Beast and the New World Order.

How does the census determine citizenship? Is that a question on the census forms? Does the census collect birth certificates?

Exactly how do you think drugs and voting are the same?

Just how exactly do they do that? Also how do they do that on the day of voting when people show up without having registered? You know, the same day that a Presidential winner is selected....
