Is that what you think? The ONLY way Bush or any American President could get to Kabul or Baghdad was to invade the countries and take them over. That is what Bush did, hence all the costs involved in that can be linked to his visits there. This is not my logic, but that of the US right who are now attacking Obama for doing his ****ing job.

If the first lady travels with the President, that's fine, but if she goes off on her own overnight, then she can pay her own damn way.

Does anybody have a good, RELIABLE source on what trips by presidents cost ... Obama's, Bush's, Clinton's? A lot of speculation, but I've seen little good data on this ...

This report states that the cost to run the White House in the fiscal year 2008 was over 1.5 billion dollars. And who was it that was in the White House in 2008?

Face it, this is another pathetic attempt to attack the big bad black guy in the White House and is not based on actual facts and figures but wishful thinking and paranoia.

But they still fund it or not. Bottom line, Congress is the reason we are in the mess we are in. All a President can do is ask for a certain amount. It's then up to Congress to give it to them or not. Doesn't matter which alphabet letter the President is or which alphabet controls Congress.

Here's another pathetic broadside at Obama that will soon fall off the rails and be blown away by the next breeze. The Repub train is indeed clanking and banging and chugging down the tracks toward the trestle that has been whipped away from them by Obama and his team and the inevitable is on the horizon. Complete train wreck for the baggers and their ilk.
