My brilliance boggled your mind, eh?
It's ok, you'll get aboard sooner, or later.
Hardly. Quite the opposite.

Private industry gravitates towards the cheaper option. This is rarely the cleaner option.
There is a realization coming, the organic hydrocarbons are a large but finite supply, without which four out five people will starve to death.
After seeing some of the ridiculous comments on this thread, I don't want to hear another word from the Right about problems related to our national debt. Ever. Considering the many trillions--possibly hundreds of trillions--of dollars that climate change is expected to cost, a $17-trillion debt is puny by comparison.
tererun, as usual, hit the nail on the head with her post. The typically older people who have no problem with our trashing the environment--and it is not all of them, but many of them--should expect the same disrespect in return. Quid pro quo.
The notion of 'republican' has nothing to do with individual liberty and responsibility. It has to do with organizing the populace behind a government apparatus that exercises more control over the people and thereby pushing it's actual agenda of oppressing the poor and racism.
The notion of 'democrat' has nothing to do with justice. It has to do with organizing... blah blah blah.
The notion of 'Christian' has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with organizing... blah blah blah.
See how that works?

What I see is hugely uninformed ranting.
The green agenda is one of bull****. It has no record of specific goals relating to "green", much less having accomplished such. Meanwhile, the agendas of the others that you note, such as Chistianity, Liberty, and Big Government, have quite a consistent track record.
"Green" however, has only a recent history of hyper-alarmism and foolishness. It is the new stupid.
For a moment, I thought you got the point! Then...
Now I'm not sure. Was everything after the first sentence of your post a joke?
Hugely serious. The joke is such as Al Gore, man-made global warming, and carbon credits. Although Fat Albert got rich off selling stupidity to the dumb masses.
If the extent of ones criticism of the environmental movement is Al Gore, I'd consider that uninformed ranting.
And I'll consider the inability to read, and to substitute strawmen, as a sign of ingrained stupidity and ignorance.
Didn't take long for it to become a race thing. Nice!!

If climate change ruins the future it will be the fault of millions of conservatives
around the world that sabotaged every single thing we tried to do to fix this. If it doesn't, it will be because of scumbag liberals, scientists and other trash that worked hard to solve this problem while the courageous conservative patriots threw a tantrum face down in their pillows.
This is the first time in history your mental retardation has threatened global civilization.
Retarded is being gullible enough to believe just about everything your'e told and being partial to a idea because it suites your political agenda.
Retarded is not having the base intelligence to realize just how baseless and empty the arguments for AGW are and thinking for one second by giving more of your money to bureaucrats your somehow saving the world.
Retarded is thinking your part of some noble cause when really your just a bunch of easily manipulated pawns for a few rich and Corrupt liberal politicians.
Scientists brought you the internet, your computer, the atomic bomb, a long list of incredible works. Yet when it comes to climate change the scientists are suddenly co-conspirators or fools?
Maybe you should go back to sweeping beer cans out of the back of your truck and stfu.
Ok, so you have no actual rebuttal so you want to derail into the discussion on obvious republican racism. Point noted, and you can have fun on that road.
People used to believe everything the church said, too. Aren't you glad we figured out that just because the church said it doesn't mean that it isn't bull****? Taking a scientists word on a subject as being, "the gospel", is no worse than the blindly following church teachings during the Middle Ages. There are literally billions of dollars on the table that is ear marked for global warming research. it's very naïve to think that global warming researchers wouldn't stretch the truth to keep the cash flowing.Scientists brought you the internet, your computer, the atomic bomb, a long list of incredible works. The national debt is real. The "hundreds of trillions of dollars that climate change is expected to cost us" is not.
I don't want to hear the demagoguery and false claims from the Left way more then you don't want to hear from us about the debt.
Your premise is based on supposition and a agenda driven catastrophic fairy tale that has about as much legitimacy as a Zombie apocolypse, 17 Trillion in structural debt is substantive and can be easily quantified.
Hey, Obama's new NSA data farm in Utah is going to need 65 megawatts of power.
You know why they didn't use Bald Eagle Killing Windmills and ineffecient, highly eco-destructive Solar power to run it ?
Because he wants it to work.
