'Idiot’ Bilderberg conspiracy theorist Alex Jones disrupts BBC politics show

VANCE MACK said:
I'd say Jones was just a nutjob...if it werent for the fact that the federal government cant account for gun running schemes, warrantless wiretaps and spying on US citizens, spying on reporters, using federal agencies for election tampering, etc.

We have conspiracy theory liftoff!

I think what it really comes down to is that some people want to feel out of control and ignorant. Presenting the world as one big conspiracy theory relieves us of obligation to success. We can sit back and proclaim "see! It's a giant conspiracy, no one knows the truth, we have no control over our lives and we don't have any clue what's going on! THAT'S why my life is ****ed up!" As if, in some grand revelation, they will someday be relieved of all responsibility officially and stand vindicated for their helplessness. Alex Jonesians are as scary as they are hopeless.

I agree with that, but I also think that another part of it is people wanting to feel as if they are the ones who know the truth and that everyone else is being fooled. As I heard someone put it recently, "They want to feel as if they are Neo from The Matrix."

We can talk all we want about how nutty Alex Jones is but the Real Lunitics are the people that are running this country.

Although he has defiantly taken things too far ( for ratings I would guess) in his new world order & bilderberg conspiracy theories, he is very solid on

on defending the 2nd Amendment.

I understand that, however I also understand the UK attempts to paint themselves as a free nation yet bans people, guns and free speech....

Which the US also does... well not the guns part. More people are banned from the US than there are people in some countries. More things are banned or restricted in the US than many other places around the industrialized world. Cant drink under 21, but can get a gun. Cant get Kinder Egg at Walmart, but can get a sub-machine gun. Cant have sex under 18, but can get get a gun. Government bans dildos, anal sex and other things... but easy as hell to get a gun!
