He was talking about governments. You're talking (very speciously) about people. How strange of you.

Are you familiar with John Dryden?

He was stupid to have his information with him, as opposed to stashed elsewhere.

    Big mistake.
Just speculating, but how do we know that he isn't a Russian agent and that all his "whistleblowing" was just a cover?

Those governments are run by people of those countries.

So what's the difference between, say, Ecuador and France? How do you explain this? This should be interesting.

Because an official agent would have secured their data elsewhere rather than carrying it with them.

I have yet to see any credible evidence or reports that he has given them anything they didn't already know as fact already.

I want to know more of what he knows. What our government has been doing is going far and well beyond that of the Nixon administration. It is a clear violation of the 4th Amendment and goes against what our country is supposed to be about.

I hope he gets asylum just like Assange...I hope he leaks more information so that we can know exactly what our government has been up to.

I'd love to see Snowden try this as a defense at his trial....It would amazingly funny.
