No, they're not. I'm not sure why it matters either way.

the problem with this line of thinking is that anarchy, and mob rule seem to be what you think will remedy this, it isn't....
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

I thought Mr. Snowden was changing planes in Moscow. What happened?

He flew to a country with an intelligence apparatus that would be very, very, very interested in what else he may know.. a country that wants leverage to get the US to back off Syria...

They have a version of the CIA too... only not nearly as nice...

    What happened, indeed...

The last Wiki leaks of a few years ago was supposed to be even bigger than this and what happened? Not a great deal it seems.

Of course that may not be the case this time but perhaps members of the government just don't like being embarrassed.

But I'm very curious as to why you brought it up in any way, shape, or form if you admit it has nothing to do with the situation whatsoever.
I was responding to another poster. Please read.

He was asking why would Snowden go to countries that hate us and I pointed out that most of the world hates us so his point is moot.

That was what I was driving at.
Maybe if you thought my response was off-topic you should not have responded to it.

    You said:
Why would they have an extradition agreement with the US if they all hate the US? That's weird.

I gave an example on why your presumption was false. Understand now?

If exposing government corruption and abuses is "anarchy"/"mob rule" then I am all for it.

So you didn't understand that he meant governments? That's some poor critical thinking.
