Kathlynn Shepard Missing: Body Of Iowa Girl Believed To Be Found

Authorities planned to conduct an autopsy Saturday on a body found in a river that is believed to be that of a 15-year-old girl who was abducted more than two weeks ago.
Authorities believe Michael Klunder, a registered sex offender who has since killed himself, approached the girls after they got off their school bus and asked whether they wanted to earn money mowing lawns. They say Klunder offered to drive them to ask their parents for permission, but he instead took them several miles away to the hog confinement facility where he worked.
Klunder was released from prison in 2011 after serving 20 years for convictions in two separate kidnappings in Iowa that occurred on back-to-back days in December 1991.

This is just awful. The guy should've had a needle stuck in his arm after the first conviction. Call it draconian, I don't care.

Truly, but its beginning to sound like a broken record. Why do we keep releasing predators back into society time and time again? Back in my home state of Florida, a guy got 3 years for getting a 14 year old drunk and raping her. THREE ****ING YEARS. Then they released him and put him on a collar, which get slipped out of. They just caught him in Texas, and surely he's going back to jail. But given another weeks time, I could surely see the exact same thing happening as in the article. Its sickening, true and true.

I'm sure some can and will cry about his civil rights, but screw his civil rights. He's a predator, his civil rights take a backseat to the universal civil right to life (and not getting raped).
