I did say "or otherwise" which left you room to explain otherwise how South Africa has been destroyed.

    Anytime would be great.

i don't have to explain any thing to you. I have my own experiences and my own opinions. Been there and done that and I ain't talking about Africa.

BTW: I never used the word "destroyed."

As I suggested, do your own damn research. I also suggested going to a South African forum and reading the post and maybe joining the forum and ask your own questions. They use to be a British colony and many speak English.

I went ahead and found a SA forum for you to snoop around in.

I'll post the beginning of one thread and a link and you can take it from there. Your going to notice many different opinions. Enjoy.

Moving to South Africa: Good or bad? Why we will never agree

    >" Since I have been a member of this forum, most heated debates were between those who have left South Africa (or wanting to) and those who made it their new home, and somewhere in between those who cannot emigrate and have no other option than to stay in denial and hope for the best.

In another thread I made the following statement: "But remember that however much you may research and deep into the issue (whether it is a good or bad idea to immigrate to South Africa), if you haven't lived here for 15 plus years you wouldn't understand the rapid decay in all spheres of life and society over and above the 'normal world wide deterioration' which will reduce South Africa to another Zimbabwean banana republic in years to come." ... @ Jetboogieman,

Since you state that you are from South Africa you I think are at best position to provide us insight about what is going on with the issue of racism there? Would you like to share?

To stay on topic we could start with a:

    Did Mandela mitigate racism there?

    Is racism growing?

What will happen with racism after Mandela?

    Thanks

I'll accept that - I quoted you and another poster who agreed the sentiments of your posts which was why I quoted you.

Thanks but I already have a broad range of contacts including family in South Africa which is why I disagree the sentiment of your and the other poster's comments.

Mandala has had a long life, he's accomplished much. I will let the politics stay within the borders of South Africa. We have our own political problems here for me to concern myself with.

If Mandala doesn't leave the hospital this time, RIP.

I believe that Mandela overwhelmingly tried to mitigate racism. So did MLK. Both are to be heralded. Both were eclipsed by racists of their own color, and politicians who are better empowered by a world with racism, rather than one without.

    Grandson Says Mandela's Health Improving
Former South Africa President Nelson Mandela's health has improved, his grandson said Saturday as the 94-year-old spent his eighth day in the hospital recovering from a lung infection.

Mandla Mandela said that when he left his grandfather in Pretoria, before heading to Qunu for a family memorial, "we saw the improvement in his health."

"The old man is not only ours, but he is for the people of South Africa, Africa, and the whole world," he said at the funeral of elderly cousin, Florence Nondlela Mandela, in Mandela's home village in South Africa's Eastern Cape. "We would like to say, even tomorrow, these prayers are the ones that will make him strong, so that he can feel better and rise from that hospital bed."

If you want to get some perspective on what a violent, communist overthrow is really like, Zimbabwe is a far better example than South Africa. Mandela could have easily made himself dictator and then launched racist land policy against whites, like Mugabe. But he didn't.

I just heard on MSNBC that Mandela has taken a turn for the worse.
    Here is a story:
