What are you saying? They didn't understand a bill that said they would be invading another country? You should name a few names here.

Add the two together, and you'd have to wonder why we even try to use such a system for anything important.
Or in many cases such as health care, abortion, and so on, leave it up to the individual States.

It's a law that primarily helps poor people and might cost the middle class a little more money in the short term. Of course it's going to be unpopular. Americans are, for the most part, pretty selfish people.

Actually, no other group of people on the planet show as much compassion in the form of treasure and lives.

Interesting how that is lost on you.

Do you have any stats to support that claim? I have this one. Americans Are Most Generous, Global Poll Finds - About Donors - The Chronicle of Philanthropy- Connecting the nonprofit world with news, jobs, and ideas

Just out of curiosity, where do you live? I've found that many Europeans are very poorly informed about the United States.

By definition that means the poor are also selfish, so you lost your moral high ground. I think the day you start to really be strictly reasonable in your argumentation, you'll no longer be a socialist either.

It may be wrong, but it's really not new.

You realize if you have to lie and mislead to prove your argument you still have a crappy argument to return to.

And your Iraq desperation is absolutely irrelevent. Democrats in 1998, including Hillary and Bill Clinton knew he had WMD. So there shouldn't have been any surprise to anyone.

Do I need to post their quotes ?
If you don't know the errors in what you just said, there is probably little hope of educating you.

Oh, I wouldn't talk the "talk" too seriously. They really knew. Maybe not how it would all play out, but it's foolish to t,honk they really had no idea.

I'm saying they all didn't actually read the NIE. They took the briefings as the gospel.
