    Sarah Palin: 'America ... So Screwed' with Rice, Power Picks

    Sarah Palin on Thursday issued a blistering attack on President Barack Obama's appointments of Susan Rice and Samantha Power as top national-security and foreign-policy advisers, lamenting, "America, we are so screwed."

    "We're in for a helluva ride, America. Obama just named Susan Rice as his National Security Adviser and nominated Samantha Power to replace Rice as our U.N. ambassador," the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said in jaw-dropping Facebook post.

    "Samantha Power is married to Cass Sunstein, the very, very strange Obama pick for an early 'czar' position who wowed us with his numerous bizarre claims including the wacko belief that animals should have the right to sue in court, that hunting should be banned as genocide, and that pet ownership is akin to 'slavery.'"

    Sunstein, administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, is an outspoken advocate of animal rights and once said that granting animals legal rights could decrease animal cruelty.

    Palin also says Power "once compared U.S. actions abroad to those of Nazi Germany. As the Washington Examiner's Philip Klein wryly noted on Twitter, 'Samantha Power is the UN Ambassador, who is supposed to represent US interests at the UN?'"

    She promised her followers that more "information about Obama's new picks will be revealed in coming days" and admonished the nation to "pay attention to who they are; what they stand for; and what their records, associations, and statements reveal about them and their intentions."

    Finally, Palin concludes: "Nah, America... I shouldn't have prefaced this post with a warning to hang on because 'we're in for a helluva' ride.' Sorry. That was crass and inaccurate. I should have just said about Obama's judgment and unchecked power, 'America, we are so screwed.'"

    Morning MMC...I couldn't agree more...These picks accomplish a few things with Obama....

    1. It effectively sticks a finger in the eye of Issa, and republicans that want to get to the bottom of Benghazi

    2. It flips the whole of America off as he tells us, 'you think I am embattled? Watch this...

    3. It gives the radical Muslim world a message that we don't really support Israel, and are true dhimmi's. They now have a green light.

    Its even worse than that JM.....Rice knows nothing of Security of this Country. She is not an Expert in anything related to the Field. She doesn't have the Intelligence nor the brain capacity to even make the grade.

    My only thing is.....if the Country gets hit while she is in Charge. When it is done over with. Obama has a Choice. His Head or Hers. But one does come off!

    Myself.....If I were the Repubs. I would set Obama up and then FORCE HIM to get rid of her. Which Naturally He wont like. But then.....they Should tell him. We don't give a damn what you like.

    Now when Dubya put Bolton in the UN on a very temporary basis, I don't recall the right wing denouncing him or listening to our allies much. Bolton is quoted as saying diplomacy is weakness and indecisiveness. And when France cautioned against war in Iraq we started eating Freedom Fries and waving our genitalia in their general direction! The Right Wing seems to have a very fickle relationship with our 'allies'.

    Yeah, I don't think any set up is needed. Unfortunately for the country, he is seemingly imploding all on his own...Obama was incompetent from day one, and in his first term he did good at distracting the public from the most egregious of his crap, but now in the second term, the mask is coming off as even some of the radical left that he needed as his support, start to wake up that he didn't do what they want either....

    They are leaking like a colander on spaghetti night.

    Obama is incompetent, and we in the opposition knew that from the start, and many dismissed it as sour grapes, or what ever, but now even his own base is having to ask the question of evil, or incompetent....And they are pissed.

    Obama's danger isn't from his political opposition, it is, and always has been from within his own base of loosely held together radicals on the left that have the propensity to be dangerous and we should all fear what is happening to this country in the more radical circles within.

    Try looking it up yourself.....not to difficult to pick out the UN Watch Groups that have been calling for Rice's head Since Darfur. Nor those Moooslims Groups that have been complaining about her. I thought you would surely know those you support fully and blindly without hesitation or thinking for ones self.

    Just a few facts about France outwitting Rice, or the Muslim complaints, and Darfur??? REALLY??? Again you rant with no real facts, just very vague claims someone said something and when i do show the complaint is just standard Roosian wolf whistling you ignore the facts and rant on.

    The most pugnacious ambassador to the UN was Bolton, who makes Rice seem like a Pussy cat. You can't bury the past just because it blows your complaints out of the water. To the Right Wing France is no ally but the butt of 99% of the surrender jokes. To the Right Wing Russia is an enemy on the rise, not an ally. To the Right Wing most of the Muslim world is a hot mess that needs to move into the 19th century before we can deal with them- well we can still exploit their oil...
