Here's what I don't get. Sure, we all knew he was talking about basketball. But why would Hibbert be thinking about homo stuff while discussing the game anyway? Why does Hibbert have homo-on-the-brain and why did the thought of being close to his teammate need to be qualified, in his mind? I also find it odd that the qualification was made prior to the statement, as if the words of affection were worth making the (apparently, necessary) qualification.

Man, I don't see why 'homo' is considered so offensive. It's just short for homosexual which is an acceptable term. If it's because it's been used in derogatory context so often then the gay community best start looking for a PC replacement for the term gay then. Cuz the young generations uses that one to insult each other all the time.
