My, how the storyline has changed among liberals.
    Who told you that, Limbaugh?

Working together used to be the norm. Today it is open warfare and slander. Great statesmen are gone. Today we have lawyers with polished teeth and spit shined shoes saying anything to get elected. Recall Reagan and Tip O'Neal always talking it out. Adlai Stevenson and Everett Dirksen were great examples of our officials working together. Today's politicians could care less for the good of the country and the media is in part to blame with it's constant scrutiny but these slime balls in Washington today deserve the gas chamber.
    It's nothing more than X's and O's.

Christie appears to be a shoe-in for reelection. He will be perfect poised to run for president in 2016. As conservative governor from a blue state, he may have what it takes to win. The real question is will he be able to get the nomination?

Seven months after they made political waves touring the damaged New Jersey coastline together, President Obama and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie reunited on the Jersey Shore as the president assessed the recovery and rebuilding efforts of the beach communities devastated by Superstorm Sandy.

"We're still rebuilding after Sandy. Now, we all understand that there is still a lot of work to be done," the president said before a crowd of 3,800 at the Asbury Park Convention Hall in Asbury Park, N.J. "There are homes to rebuild, there are businesses to reopen, there are landmarks and beaches and boardwalks that aren't all the way back yet -- but thanks to the hard work of an awful lot of people, we've got wonderful shops and restaurants and arcades that are opening their doors. And I saw what thousands of Americans saw over Memorial Day weekend. You are stronger than the storm."

Christie has about as much a chance of getting the Republican nomination as you do. He's way too smart, rational, and pragmatic to ever be nominated by the Republicans. Besides which, since he doesn't believe humans occupied the earth at the same time dinosaurs did, he automatically loses the right wing religious nut vote, which is at the core of the Republican base.

You have a link for this, of course. By link, I mean something other than World Nut Daily or the rantings of some nenderthal right wing blogger?

I wouldn't be too sure about what you say, I think it's possible Republicans may come to theirs senses before 2016. If they can put their arms around Romney, they certainly can put them around Christie as well. Christie's greatest asset is that he's a true conservative in a blue state.
