We do not have the 4th amendment. Interested person obtains a license to have a gun that is not difficult to get. Then you can purchase one and go practice shooting at newly build areas.

I do not think it is Orwellian since it promotes using of guns for protection while it attempts to inhibit using of guns for murder. It is the "murder" part that I am not alright with that is all.
We too have that right of passage here in Texas. Nice to see it exist in other countries.

(BTW: all these people who talk bad about Texas are just jealous)

Have you seen the movie or book "1984" This is what I fear your machine might be used for.

Anyway this is my position and solution for the time being regarding this issue of guns and murders that you guys suffer ever so frequently. Will be presenting this proposal a few times more when other sad incidents such as this in Texas occur.

Sometime along the line I will probably get bored from saying it to no avail as you say. For now though it feels great to use brand new technology to try to stop murderers from doing their ill intent.
With all due respect, anyone who thinks a MRI should be required before purchasing a gun might want to schedule one themselves to make sure everything is in working order.

There were at least 3,308,124 who were insane there November 6, 2012!
There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences.

Yes, blaxshep kept on providing the number of millions of people with personality and character disorders.

Prosecuting people who self-identify on a federal form would do more to reduce gun crimes than your fMRI would.
It is a move. I think it is positive move to make it harder to get legal guns to murderers of various kinds.

The form captures people lying. While fMRI reveals their innate ill intent as associated with such disorders. But I do not mind. Both reinforcing the form and the fMRI might also do for me. Why not.

I do not have experiments of my own with fMRI's yet. I have read other neuroscientists work and believe that it may work. Hence I do not have a "scope" for you with my work. But I could provide references to these authors if you wish?

But the way I have seen things work is that great things happen in USA first then the rest of the countries follow the good idea as a model. They think "if the ones in USA are using it it can't be bad" while the scientists may have promoted the idea in their own country to deaf ears all along.

I never doubted that they are . What is the age of the rite of passage and guns? Here is 15. He is issued the gun after being told of his manly duties and roles. Then on he is the man according to the code.

I have seen the movie. I would not want such control over the liberties of people taken away neither.

But these fMRI's they screen out the bad guys amongst us and leave us be in peace with our guns WCH? What is wrong with that? How can this grow to be a Big Brother like tight control on ones thoughts?

Thoughts cannot appear in fMRI for one. Just what you feel, and what kind of a guy one is does (especially them bad ones).

Come now. I think all countries have people that resemble Texans. People in Mallishevė, Strellcė, I think are like that here in Dardania. Cannot claim them all are insane can you?
