'Soldier beheaded' in Woolwich machete attack: latest

Whether I am or not is no excuse for using those terms. Middleground would probably call that hate speech, and they are terms Michelle Malkin herself would never use..

Since I am one of the aforementioned "thems" I use those terms. I think I'm saving my "badge" so no one forgets I was given one.....................

My point--and where this all started from--was that it is better to understand why the enemy hates and try to attack the root causes rather than act aggressively without thought. This is why I pointed out the doc., The Fog of War, because McNamara listed 11 mistakes that he made during the Vietnam era and one of the biggest was he did not understand the enemy.
The 'enemy' hates becaus ethey are bunch of evil hate filled bastards. Their excuses and justification is just that. Two Brits slaughtering a British Soldier over Britains presence in Afghanistan? Thats as ridiculous as threatening to kill a cartoonist over a drawing of Muhammad with a grenade in his beard. Slaughtering children and blaming Christians? really?

UNDERSTAND who you are dealing with.

Two men accused of butchering a British soldier had been part of previous investigations by security services, a British official said Thursday, as investigators searched several locations and tried to determine whether the men were part of a wider plot to instill terror on the streets of London.

On Thursday, Scotland Yard said counterterrorism officers arrested two more people, a man and a woman — both 29 — on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Both suspects are in custody at a south London police station.

Both suspects in the London attacks had been part of previous terror investigations by Britain's security services, according to a British official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about the police inquiry and cautioned that details could jeopardize future trials.

It was unclear how recent the investigations were or whether the men were loosely tied to other suspects being investigated or whether they themselves had been put under surveillance, which could have included being watched by undercover investigators or having their phone calls and emails intercepted.

Rigby, from Manchester, served abroad in Cyprus, Afghanistan and Germany. The ministry said in a statement that Rigby, a member of the Corps of Drums, was "an excellent side drummer and highly competent machine gunner."

"An extremely popular and witty soldier, drummer Rigby was a larger than life personality within the Corps of Drums and was well known, liked and respected across the Second Fusiliers," the statement said. "He was a passionate and life-long Manchester United fan." He leaves behind a 2-year-old son, the ministry said.

Get this...one last time...I DONT GIVE A DAMN about the Buddhist terrorists as it relates to this incident. I know there are fundamentalist extremists in different parts of the world. That does not dilute, justify, or excuse THIS incident. Want to start a thread about murderous terrorist thugs in Burma? I'll say the same thing when someone tries to drag some other smoke screen into the mix. And BTW...you fight those scumbags the same way you fight the scumbags in England.

Meanwhile, the Brits don't seem to have a problem calling a British citizen a terrorist or citing the influence of a radical cleric.

I have no idea who you really are and don't care. That sort of talk is unnecessary.

No one will be allowed to forget that they treated me as a subhuman..................What better way to keep that memory alive then to keep that badge assigned to me "fresh" ?.........................

On the other hand perhaps it was the those who beheaded the victim who were victims of propaganda. What do you think?

Yes, to some degree, absolutely. And guilty of not understanding "the enemy."

Again, please cite them advocating violence, if you want to even make a somewhat legitimate comparison to islamic extremists.

Please, it's amazing that you need quotes. Most people accept that they are hate-mongering dicks. But let me appease you...here's a link for your reading pleasure. If you want more, just google "Ann Coulter advocating violence," there's lots more to choose from.

you might be a victim of propaganda, but please don't project your failings onto others.

Judging from the naivete of your above quote, one would wonder about yourself, more than anything else. Just sayin'.

You prove my point well.

Please, it's amazing that you need quotes.{/quote]

Why, I follow none of these people and one instance of "advocating violence" from you already proved to be mischaracterized

Most people accept that they are hate-mongering dicks.

Again, hate mongering isn't violence. The phelps klan, clearly hate mongers, but they do not advocate violence, and are in no way comparable to OBJ or some guy advocating killing random people.

But let me appease you

please do

from the link: "So at the moment anyway, I mean I don't know what's going to happen in New York today, but at the moment I'm not really worried of a movement like SDS which really swept a lot of the college campuses... taking over. Of course if it does, just remember the lesson from my book: it just took a few shootings at Kent State to shut that down for good."

*cant believe I am defending coultere here*

If you go on to read the comment *within context*, though she might be wrong, she is speaking from the perspective that the SDS was performing domestic terrorist activities w/o fear of reprisals from authorities. And pointing out, that it only took one single 'force" response to shut them down, as a domestic terrorist operation. So there is no real threat of them 'taking over"

That isn't even actually advocating violence,. Just outlining it's effects.

Complete idiotic? Sure. The same as advocating violence against random people for not engaging in domestic terrorism, but simply being american, jewish, etc? No, not even close, and in no way comparable to the man who was central to developing AQ ideology

relevent contexual quote: "talk radio. And you know, those kids, the ones who started the Kent State riots was Bill Ayers' best friend and according to Ayers, homosexual lover. He ended up blowing himself up in that townhouse in Greenwich Village when they were trying to blow up army recruits -- a dance for army recruits and their dates. They were running through Kent State smashing jewelry store windows, burning the ROTC building to the ground, and when the firemen showed up, they threw rocks at the firemen, they slashed the fire trucks' hoses. This was really out of hand -- it wasn't some peace [unintelligible], you know, peace, love not war --

SUSSMAN: Right.

COULTER: -- rally, and also, according to the recent reporting by James Rosen, the National Guard may have been shot upon first. But the point is, these kids never realized that they couldn't go run around burn down a building and get anything from -- but praise from the mainstream media."

Judging from the naivete of your above quote, one would wonder about yourself, more than anything else. Just sayin'.

This is the second time you provided a quote that was totally mischaracterized. I think I will be fine
