Are you one of those people that goes to a Car dealership, and believes everything your told ? Including thinking youv'e all of the sudden made a AWESOME new friend who just so happens to sell cars for a living ?

Again, the IRS Illegally leaked donor list NOT from Liberal PACs, but from Conservative PACs.

So whats the ratio of Conservative to Liberal orginizations targeted by the IRS friend of Car Salesmen ?

Because ANY attempt at targeting left wing groups was done for one reason, so people like you could dishonestly claim that these PACs were targeted equally.

It's just BS low life dishonesty and mitigation, everyone of your post is defensive because the most Corrupt administration in History has devolved down into a group of disgusting scum bag politicians trying to cover their asses.

Well at least they had time to destroy the economy while targeting Conservatives and lying about Benghazi.

I can speculate as well, it could mean conservative groups abuse the 501c(4) tax code more than liberal groups.do.

Where is the evidence of such abuse? Do you have any?

We have truckloads of evidence that the IRS broke the law. Wanna get into a dick measuring contest??

But wouldn't they have to HAVE the 501c4 status (which is the basis of this brouhaha) before they could abuse it?

Crossroads GPS. They spent 70-90% of their budget on electioneering. Do you really want to argue that Crossroads GPS is primarily a social welfare organization?

Also, there is no evidence that the IRS broke the law. There is evidence that a BOLO inappropriately singled out conservative groups, but there is no evidence that conservative groups were targeted. It took much more than a name to be forwarded to the special committee for further investigation.

In fact, the audit found that 4% of all applications were not given enough scrutiny, compared to 2% that were given too much. Since conservative groups made up the majority of the increase, it's fair to say that many conservative groups were incorrectly given 501(c)(4) status.

Anyone who is abusing the tax code:

Federal law defines 501(c)4 groups as groups engaged exclusively in “social welfare” activities. The IRS, however, has allowed these 501(c)4 groups to venture into political activities as long as civic and charitable work remains their “primary purpose.” This loophole has caused a number of organizations heavily engaged in political work to organize themselves as 501(c)4 groups in order to gain tax-exempt status and shield their donors from the disclosure requirements that apply to more traditional political organizations.

The senators said the IRS should close this loophole by imposing a strict, percentage-based cap on the amount of a nonprofit group’s spending that can go towards political activities. Legal experts have proposed a cutoff of 49 percent to ensure that political activities never command more than half of a group’s total spending. But the senators said even this threshold would be too high and would permit more political work than any nonprofit group should be able to perform.

Actually no, since you're allowed to operate as a 501(c)(4) without applying.

Ok. You only have about 400 more to go. We'll be waiting.

But, your donors can't make tax deductable donations, without you being a credentialed NFP, which will hurt your donations big time. Hence, part of the reason that Conservative NFP's were given the run-around.

It was a partisan plot to defund Conservative politicing.
