And there are young women who are being raped at college.

Several years ago a young woman who is very dear to me was stalked, grabbed, and taken to a car and raped by a stranger when she was returning to her car after an evening class at a local Catholic College.
At my encouragement she did file a police report and she did inform the college so they could step up security and provide better lightingin their parking lot.
She had noted some of the lighting was off or broken.

The rapist was never caught but even if he had been I doubt she would have testified.
She did get counseling for a few months and then tried to get on with life. I think she only confided in a few people.

Though estimates vary (which is the nature of estimates), tens of thousands of pregnancies are caused by rape every year.

The immoral abortion banners want to punish these woman for being "temptresses"

I don't doubt this at all nor do I condone it or blame it on the woman. That's not the point, unless you're claiming that America is this lawless outpost where women are raped and impregnated millions of times each year it's irrelevant to the point I was making that for the most part women are responsible for their own bodies and if they become pregnant they are responsible. If America is the way you'd have us believe, I'm surprised any woman would leave the house ever.

In addition, you took my comment out of context in that I wasn't talking about forcing women to do anything other than accept the fact that if they want to claim control over their own bodies then it's full control not partial control - if you are the sole person responsible for ending a pregnancy then you have to accept that you are the sole person who allowed yourself to get in that situation in the first place. Other than the Virgin Mary, there aren't any women who mysteriously become pregnant.
In the US, and estimated 20,000-35,000 women get pregnant from rape every year

If 20,000 men died of a disease in one year, you can be damn sure it would be called an epidemic

No need for you to worry then. Women are impregnated by their rapist "only" 20,000-35,000 time per year (approx.)

Again, irrelevant to the point that was being addressed. Perhaps you'd like to actually review the discussion before you provide a totally irrelevant post.

Besides, there are about 1.2 million abortions in the US every year. This number does not include pregnancies that may have been ended medicinally. 20,000 to 35,000, in the big scheme of things, is a statistical irrelevancy to the number of abortions.

It's good to hear however, that you consider a man dying of a disease to be the equivalent of a woman becoming pregnant even if it's as a result of being raped.

Nonsense. I addressed the BS you posted

The immoral abortion banners think it is always the "temptresses" fault. They're so morally twisted that they blame the victim for being raped, and want to punish her with a child for being "loose"

Sorry - not playing your little game today - you can attribute nonsense to me all you want - find someone else to humor you. I'll stick with discussing issues with people who actually respond to my comments not people who create their own narrative to attack and then attribute it to me.

Take care and have a good day.

Deny it all you want, but it's right there in black and white:

if you are the sole person responsible for ending a pregnancy then you have to accept that you are the sole person who allowed yourself to get in that situation in the first place
    That's Misogyny at it's finest

Is "approx" the greek abbreviation for bull****? Those numbers are about a third of forcible rapes. And with more degrees in science/biology than you probably have teeth, that's simply impossible.
