And this is all I'm saying. I not a fan of the Tea Party, but I totally disagree with the government going after groups because there views conflicts with your party views. Some things should not be political. It was wrong then and it is wrong now.

If there's any real evidence that it's political motivated, you would be right. In the case of NAACP, there was a charge and that charge was followed up on. How many other black NFP's were auditted at the same time, simply because of their race, or politics?

A motto is not a law. It is barely even a tweet.

I do not see a conviction or a charge. An investigation does not mean a law was broken, nor is it proof of any wrongdoing. Way to jump the gun and declare people guilty before charges are evn made, or even before anyone can quote which supposed law was actually broken.

Interesting choice, but it actually would not apply to IRS investigations of applications for tax exempt status. That is something that is part of the job description of IRS investigators and not considered political activity. Under your logic every politician in the US would be immune from investigations like the benghazi investigation because it is pretty easy to claim they are politically motivated and therefor members of congress cannot participate. of course that does not apply because part of their responsibility is to investigate wrongdoing which is protected from being considered politically motivated despite the reality that it is politically motivated.

feel free to open that can of worms and try to apply that act and we can hammer every republican representative who has mentioned benghazi. Not to mention any one of them who mentions the IRS or the AP scandal. No, forget it i am all for the republicans running with this one. It can do nothing but destroy both parties and that is something america needs.

Off topic, but no he didn't. He was improperly convinced for being confused. Plame was known by three different names. Testifies to one name as no, another as yes... etc...

That's my last words in this thread on that topic.
