    GTX, sweet!

We've had to fight Sacramento to keep muscle cars alive in California. They've been working like hell to crush the hobby despite the thousands of people who make a living building a restoring the beauties...

Either way, 1 of every 5 cars sold has to be a ZEV. Of course, that's for the big auto makers. There are offsets, and penalties, and provisions for the Ferrari's etc., but it's all going to cost big bucks for the consumers, and the automakers.

Well, they wouldn't be there if it weren't for the incompetent voters who are paid to keep them there.

It's not hard to see what happens when over 30 percent of the nations welfare cases reside in a state with only 13 percent or so of the nations population.

Unless they only sell 20 total cars in Cali. Probably would cut out a large portion of their potential sales, but if Cali is going to make the cost of entry into their market that ****ty, all car makers would pay the same price.

Might make sense to open a few dealerships in the Nevada desert.

California carries some of the highest registration fees in the nation. It's actually been higher. The Highway Patrol is always on the lookout for "local" cars with Nevada, Arizona, or Oregon license plates. The difference can be thousands of dollars per year, depending on the vehicle. Registration fees are based on cost of the vehicle, not necessarily weight.
