That doesn't explain the fact that Khrushchev just walked into Cuba and thought he could just put nukes there undetected.

You do realize Khrushchev and his minions denied all of it until confronted with U2 spy plane photos?

They cared enough for CNN's Candy Crowley to weigh in on the issue during the Presidential debate.

Obviously this isn't a story the liberal media is interested in carrying but I wonder how she feels about her remarks now.

This is a non-issue to progressives.

Progressives view this issue as an attack on progressives - they don't care about, nor want the truth because they're perfectly content with the big tittie called the government ruled by democrats..

Progressives view Bengahzi as a "war on democrats" hence it is unjust regardless of the circumstances, truth or reality.

You see - democrats can do whatever the **** they want in the progressive mind because there is always a good reason behind nefarious actions...

Progressives will do 1 of 3 things a) deny b) deflect or c) justify.... Progressives know they're wrong but people like Clinton know her minions will not accept what happened because the real issue to progressives is destroying the values that made the United States great... Benghazi is just a mere attack on their "revolution."

You, me and 2 other guys in a pick up game of shoot the terrorist would definitely have been nothing but a few more dead infidels.

4 Special Forces trained military men with blood in their eyes and vengeance in their hearts would have made a difference. I was told once about a Navy SEAL in his whites who arrived at a bar on the waterfront to meet some friends for a night on the town, got into a fight with a motorcycle gang and left the bar as the winner. The Special Forces guys returned from Viet Nam that I knew when I was in school were just plain scary for lack of a better way to describe them.

The chances of that happening are greater than the White House Press Corps finding anything that is not spoon fed to them.

The reasons for the lack of criticism is the same in both cases.

There was a Cold War going on at the time. I remember the pictures of the circles on the map of the USA showing the ranges of the missiles on the evening news and which cities would be destroyed by the missiles when launched.

I was little, about 7 or 8 years, and do not remember anything beyond that.

As i hjave read about this, though, the word of the missiles in Turkey was not widely known in the USA at the time. It was a different time.

1. The simple appearance of air support actually has a fairly powerful suppressive effect.
2. 2 guys held off the mob for 7 hours. We're not talking about ordinary guys, here.

not guilty at all. She admitted not half an hour after the debate was over that she had been wrong, why should she change her mind now?

I don't know, it's 4 guys. A concerted attack could have just been 8 dead people. Plus it would have left the actual Embassy less defended, so maybe not a good tactical move.

I'm stuck on what anybody hopes to accomplish. I don't see a crime here. Bad decisions, lack of leadership...but no crime. If you want an issue to bring down the President, I'd be far more interested in the IRS scrutiny of TP groups. You're barking up the wrong tree here.

This was a orginized attack. I doubt that the presence of airplanes would have scared of the attackers, in fact they would have taken refugee in our embassy compound.

I know our planes carry smart bombs that can hit a target, but we have yet to create munitions that only kill the enemy when they explode.

What do you think the innocent bystanders were doing? Eating popcorn and taking bets on the winner? After about 15 minutes of gunfire, they were long gone. For the next seven hours and 15 minutes, the only people within shrapnel range were shooting guns.

I don't think you understand the objective in the inquiry. The truth is the objective - the people responsible for the poor decisions and negligence should not remain in a position to do so again. Obama is a lame duck, and getter lamer by the minute. Why would anyone risk political capital in an effort already being handed to him or her with the passage of time? Events like this only serve to accelerate it a bit.

:shrug: in a crowd of people assaulting an embassy at 0200 in the morning, I'm betting the true collateral damage would be low.

If it matters, I'm not a big fan of conservatives considering they continually degrade libertarians such as myself as kooks - however despite how conservatives treat libertarians, I certainly and intelligently realize that progressives are ****ing evil liars and goddamn well know everything they spew is a lie and do so out of contempt and hate - that's why I call politics: "political gangbanging."

Every ****ing news story and opinion on the "left" is based on hearsay or fantasy while progressive journalists bury the inconvenient (to the democrat party) facts at the bottom of a 3 page article which they damn well know only a few will read in its entirety.

Don't get pissed at me or make assumptions because I realize the progressive MSM likes to bash people first then buries evidence and substance that vindicates said individual at the end of a news article...

People have short attention spans and don't read articles - they read the ****ing headline and then attempt to get the jest of the story.... The progressive MSM are doing their best to make Hillary look like a ****ing victim of "conservative attacks" despite her role in leaving an entire embassy to be offed.

Also, I don't believe I need to justify my political affiliation to you boy.

They want to discredit Clinton to hurt her chances for becoming president in 2016. It doesn't take a crime to do that. You are correct. There was no crime. Just incompetence. The IRS thing, on the other hand, was illegal.
