I think the real message there was that if you're looking to blame the higher-ups, they're Republicans. But all it takes is to say the word "bush" and you guys fly into a tizzy.

Well, that would be about the only Democrat a certain ex-President appointed if it's not.

I don't care if Bush appointed Republicans, that's what you do, appoint your own guys. If it came vacant before 2016 I'd expect Obama to appoint a Democrat.

This just shows that the ENTIRE 501 section basically needs to change.

Groups should not be getting tax exempt status if their activities are seeking to influence a political outcome.

You get a benefit from tax exempt, you stay out of politics. Just that simple.
