Ex-SC Gov. Sanford back in political office

Alright now SC.....ya got lucky with this one. But we keep that seat in the House. Now ya best keep Sanfords azz on the Straight and Narrow. ;)

Liberals should understand this election so well. A dog and his meat is inconsequential politically. Any Bill Clinton supporter can tell you that.

I have three words for you...

READ THE THREAD!

I did... I just thought that the Sanford thing is nothing compared to the Democrats in DC re-electing a man caught smoking crack on camera... That reminds me of one more... Congressman William "cold cash" Jefferson who was caught with $90,000 in bribe money in his fridge, and was re-elected anyway. LMAO

Anyway... Sorry for going off the topic... You may resume bashing the right without any further interuption from me.

Yeah, but it's your side that harps on morality so much...

its no different than black areas reelecting convicts like Marion "Snort" Barry etc

I was just going to say that.

Which is worse? A sex scandle or a drug addict?

I think adultery is worse than doing drugs. Just me though.

How can you think something that humans were designed to do is worse than a drug addict?

Is it hurting his wife?

A drug addict destroys his whole family and other people.

A very sad state of affairs how accepted drugs are.

Humans were designed to lie, cheat, betray? It shows a lack of ethics and a lack of self control. It's far easier to break a drug habit than it is to become a decent human being.

Like I said it is very sad that people think drugs are aceptable but sex is not.

Oh we have way more than that.....Besides Blago and Jackson. Then they have Derek Smith.

In Illinois' heavily Democratic, 10th legislative district, Smith was challenged by independent candidate Lance Tyson, who was endorsed by Governor Pat Quinn and Secretary of State Jesse White. Smith still managed to win 62 percent of the district's vote with 72 percent of precincts reporting. As of that time, Tyson had won 38 percent support.

Re-elected this year past year. Even after being thrown out the House.

Do you not think this "lie, cheat, betray" is part of every drug addicts life?

He didn't fly to argentinia to meet her on our money, and divorce his wife because jesus said they were soul mates. Good try, but you are going to have to do a little better than some head in the oval office to equal this one.

Of course. Who doesn't remember "The Penis President". Clinton should have been removed from office, but Democrats supported him. But here is the deal - The very same people who attacked Clinton support someone who used taxpayer funds to cheat on his wife. If the people of South Carolina want to be holier than thou assholes, no problem. But they should apply their assholishness equally. They don't. Why? Because they are hypocritical assholes. Attack the Democrats, while supporting Republicans that do exactly the same thing. On the other hand, Democrats fit into the same mold. Here they are, attacking the douche bag who used taxpayer funds to cheat on his wife, but when Clinton was in office, they supported him, and cried foul when Republicans went after him.

Here is the deal. Political animals of all stripes, whether Democrats or Republicans are ALL douche bags. America deserves better.... On the other hand, if We the People refuse to change, and demand better of BOTH Republicans and Democrats, then We the People deserve exactly what We the People get.

Perhaps the people of South Carolina just didn't want to elect someone who's big "claim to fame" was to be a TV personalities' sister.

Yeah...those are some solid credentials.

Have you ever been to that district? A Repub will win Harlem before a Dem wins SC1.

Yep, "... South Carolina: too small to be a republic; too big to be an insane asylum.."

Actually, the people of SC-1 were pretty stupid with this one. The best way to have got rid of Sanford, who is an embarrassment to anyone with dignity, would be to have elected Colbert... she would have been a one termer and would not have even remotely affected the balance of power in DC... then they could get themselves a real congressman next time around. Now, they just look like foolish people that would elect any yahoo with an "R" next to their name.

Every person in that district to should go to bed this evening in shame as Washington has one more elected hypocrite.

Sanford was on Morning Joe on election day morning and he gave a pretty good interview. Colbert Busch was invited but declined. Some say she was being too guarded while Sanford was putting himself out there and thats probably why she lost.

Unlike a B movie film star becoming President hihih.
