On a related note...have you checked the number people on disability today?

Well they didn't take the obvious and bets solution in their budget by just slightly raising the already lowest in the country income taxes but no they created a carbon tax and increased the deficit.

I was most astounded by the last sentence in the article.

And we were just told that employment is soaring and the economy is on the uptick.
Before you go freaking out that number is somewhat deceptive. The same cards are used to distribute SNAP and TANF. SNAp is easier to get than TANF, and you do not get cash benefits from it. SNAP benefits can only be used to purchase edible products. Also, you should be aware that low income people who earn 1000 or less a month are eligible for benefits. So that means that employers use the federal government to help subsidize their employees because they do not want to pay their hard working employees a livable wage. So those people can be employed and still be on the welfare roles as long as they do not make a lot of money. Before you go blaming Obamacare, you should also be aware that many companies avoid full time workers on their low end jobs because they offer health care, pay raises, and other benefits like retirement plans to their full time employees. So even before obamacare many employers kept most of their employees below full time and close to minimum wage. While they play these stupid games with hard working people, we get to pay the rest through taxes.

Next time get the whole story. Oh, and yes do pressure the system to alter TANF to regulate where it's money is claimed and force it's people to spend it's benefits on products they need for survival much like they have already done with SNAP.
