ok  lol

I was mainly addressing people who put forward the idea that people of mixed raced backgrounds are not considered "black".

translation you cant defend your nonsensical illogical claim. Got it

the only real instances are once YOU received and when present with actual facts and reality that countered them you ignored it because they destroyed your position LOL

I will, thank

Enjoy failed argument.
No...translation...I pointed out 2 very clear instances where the same words and examples were labelled 'racist' when used by one individual and ' not racist when used by the other. You apparently arent smart enough to see how that is an issue, even after it was pointed out to you by another.

no what you pointed out is what YOU precieved to happen with little detail and what SOME people may have did that then you labeled them ALL.

it was complete failure LOL
your failed insult further lets me know your upset about your logic being proved wrong, i wonder why you didnt answer any of the questions is asked or address the facts i presented? oh thats right because they make your statement look like the total BS that they are LMAO

good try though

so why quote me since i suggested no such thing?

right, so we are to believe that your issue was with me calling him black, when he was only mixed race , even though he identifies himself as such and would be viewed as such in any social setting; that you also took issue with the use of professor as opposed to academic; and that I made the grave mistake of equating "obama the magic negro" with "Barrack the magic negro".

As opposed to the common mistake of assuming he was white based on his name.

I'm sorry, I'm not seeing the former as real substantial corrections to make issue over, while the later is common and more indicative of you remarks

No one is disputing you were attempting to correct inaccuracies. What is being questioned is what inaccuracies you were attempting to address and if they were actual innacuracies

Sigh.

Your resorting to goalpost changes is not surprising to me. I am not impressed by your lack of honesty and integrity. So I'm just going to chalk it up to a lost cause and jet outta here.

They were offered as DISCUSSION POINTS. Thats the comical part. I threw out a couple of examples to have a discussion and your ever so clever response has been "un uh!" FM

and they were proved not to support your false claims but please continue to post lies LOL

<sarcasm> you are right i posted no questions you dodged and keep dodging and nor did i post why your examples failed and why the OP even is evidence your nonsensical blanket statements are inane.</sarcasm>

I love it continue!:popcorn2:

Really? They were 'proved' to be wrong? So...when a black man uses the phrase "Barrack The Magic Negro" in the LA Times and that is considered NOT racist, and a white radio commentator COMMENTS using the exact same words and IS labelled a racist...thats NOT an indicator of bias. Gotcha. Never mind the fact that most people didnt even know who first used the term.

as the blanket statements you made them YES

your examples are about SOME people they arent factually declaring statements LOL

no need to get emotional, its obvious race is sensitive topic for YOU, everybody isnt like you. luckily

like i already told you SOME morons declaring that was racist and you applying it to everyone is equally as illogical as the moron calling it racist if his only reason was because a white guy said it.

so YES, factually proven wrong LOL

:popcorn2:

And yet...a perfect example THAT it exists and is a problem and something worthy of discussion.

no it wasnt a perfect example because you are talking about SOME people and using it as a blanket statement. Thats exactly why it failed LOL

Thats also why its not a problem because a person like me and other rational people who have no issues with race realizes thats morons will always exist and they arent to be taken seriously. Nor are their actions to be applied to the group. You on the other hand want to take their moronic actions as meaningful and apply them to the group as fact.

thats why your examples failed ans still do :D

Yes...some. Not all. Do you have some sort of indicator where it was stated that it is ALWAYS a problem, or ALWAYS occurs? Or for that matter it NEVER occurred and NEVER does occur?

is this your attempt to change gears now LOL
your blanket statements indicated most of it

like i said morons exist and they always real, most people just realize they are morons and dont value what they do, others like you throw gas on the fire because of their own issues and the circle continues. Your attitude and blanket judgements/statements are part of the problem and not part of the solutions.

Im guessing had the add just been offered for consideration there would have been a much different response. As it is, the background information sort of steers the train for ***some folk***.

Dr chuckles beat me to it but I was about to refer you back to my first post. It was an attempt at a 'conversation'...but obviously you are more interested in being the interwebz 'winner'.

im aware and your guess was wrong and remind me how this changes the fact that your two examples failed and your blanket statements were wrong? You know the ones that came up later in "conversation"

oh thats right it doesnt LOL:lamo

I thought it was -- more than anything else -- misogynist. Seriously, no one took offense to the battered and bruised woman in fear of her life? I have a pretty high tolerance and can laugh a lot of stuff... but this was absloute pure and utter crap.

It makes women look like punching bags that should not be taken seriously. It makes the issue of a woman being beaten comical.

I can't believe I have to explain this. Have we become that desensitized?

Exactly, that was my first thought as well. Using a brutalized, terrified woman being threatened (even by a damned goat) with more bodily harm while cops sipped their soft drinks and dismissed her with "she'll come around"... I mean, WTF?? Yeah, call me crazy but I don't find terrified, brutalized women to be comedic fodder. Un****ing believable.

Nice to know I am not the only one who saw that. :doh

"arguably the most racist commercial in history."

Seriously? Not even close. Sexist, absolutely, but not seeing the racism.

i think the good ole days when you had this cute cuddly hillbilly selling mountain dew was a lot better than these urban thugs and bad apples being used to sell the stuff...

the black kids would be better at selling watermelon or fried chicken, not mountain dew...
