just on a facts related note, technically i think he is a quarter, not sure if that matters but i THINK thats what is accurate.

right, his racial background is mixed (1/4 I believe), but like Obama, he would be considered 'black" in any social setting. Also, are we to believe that your issue was that I didn't call him half black, or is it more reasonable that your outrage was based on assuming that I was incorrectly labeling him as black, due to his white sounding name?

I would say the later is much more reasonable, especially when we consider your earlier attempt to attribute the magic negro comments origins to rush, despite the fact that your citation stated the exact opposite.

PS also, he has a pretty extensive scholarly background in the subject of film criticism, so I assumed he had taught at the university level. But apparently that isn't true, and I would have been more correct in identifying him as an academic. But, again, I doubt that was the source for your "fabrication" comment.

Buit if I made that big of an ass out of myself, I would try to save some face, as well

So - though my two sons have the same father - one has light skin like me . . . and the other has dark skin like his father. You think they're different 'races' because of the little skintone discrepancy?
    lol, this is getting hilarious

Just to clarify, you are aware that a photo conveys more information than merely skin tone?

Or, be outraged that they -- and their families -- as cable subscribers, are forced to watch that mysogenist ****.
No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

forced? No, they are free to change the channel. Technology has even rendered the need to get up to do so obsolete.

You are making illogical inane blanket statements and judgments.

are you saying that all or the majority of minorities think that saying McNabb is overrated is racist? if yes then you have a reality issue, if no then again the issue is still on your side because it shows you are smart enough to know thats not how the majority of minorities think but yet you are making blanket statements accusing them of it.

2.) there was no "AD GROUP" LOL
and you perspective is wrong because this and the group are being blasted, the group had to take it off their website as well.
Right now what I am saying is you arent worth the time engaging in a discussion with. I actually legitimately attempted to have a discussion based on real instances where perspective mattered as much as who said what and your oh so significant contribution to the discussion was "huh?" "whut" and "I dont get it". Enjoy your thread.

No. It was more like your [seemed] attempt to label the source as a typical granola-crunching liberal professor that many conservatives here like to use as a reason for today's societal ills. Adding his race made it seem even more like pushing an absurd point. All he did was write a column for a newspaper and used a term that Limbaugh pushed to the extreme limit.

I would say the later is much more reasonable, especially when we consider your earlier attempt to attribute the magic negro comments origins to rush, despite the fact that your citation stated the exact opposite.
You've confused me with someone else. You seriously need to work on your facts.

PS also, he has a pretty extensive scholarly background in the subject of film criticism, so I assumed he had taught at the university level. It wasn't the only component. But it needed correction in order for your post to be factually correct.

Speaking as an African American whose last name has led to his racial "credentials" being challenged — often several times a day — I know how pesky this sort of thing can be.

And how would one control your kids from seeing it? Do parental controls work for commercials?
