That landscape of sports will change? Is he planning to have sex on the court?

You can be a fairly unspectacular player statistically and still find a way to have a lengthy productive career if you find the right role. Yeah he's been a journeyman the past eight years or so but he deserves some credit for being able to stick around and get paid.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Long career and long "productive" career aren't the same thing, obviously.

So having "no career", which includes his "not" college and well paid "not" pro years....is determined by some shifting goalpost now called "prime"?

As I tried to make clear, I would take that kind of "no career" any time.
I'm sure though, your career has exceeded his, hence your superiority and ability to denigrate his.

On-court statistical production not so much, but he filled a niche role and frankly there are many more talented guys who haven't been able to stick around as long as he has. And I'm sure the amount of dough he made was productive in his eyes lol.

i simply said there are many people that dont want to live in fear of bigotry

but ill will continue on with your made up failed strawman

2.) FAIL NEVER SAID THIS and nothing is bigoted about that alone, i might find it discussing to to see you lip locking with anybody

5.) this is your opinion and you are free to have it but i think the weird ones are those that THINK about it period, why would they think about what others do? Not to mention how he was valued by the teams that paid him.

The gall of some to snicker at the rarified level of others never ceases to amaze me.

I don't see why this is a big deal. Maybe if this was 1999 it would be, but "coming out" isn't gasp-worthy anymore.
