I'm ****ing disgusted with their paranoid asses.
opinion noted and rejected as silly. the proposed law had no reasonable chance of accomplishing anything other than setting a stage for those who wanted it demanding more restrictions to make this flawed turkey fly.

when you call it watered down its obvious you see incremental gun banning as a proper strategy

Did you go to the poll?

I figured it wouldn't take long for the gun nuts to come crawling out of the woodwork like the cockroaches that they are.

when you make comments like that you prove that your desire for gun restrictions is based on your dislike of gun rights advocates rather than the violent criminals your side of the political aisle tends to be so supportive of

That's kinda of funny since All the Left including Obama is out front and center crying and whining how they lost.....vowing they will not give up that good fight to try and take down the Constitution or get around it. That they will do anything to have their Rights imposed over everybody.....while giving more control to the Federal Government.

The big lie, included in the OP quote:

The proposal would have expanded background checks to gun shows and Internet sales while exempting personal transactions.
This was never in the original bill and I can find no amendment proposed to make it so. I have posted the link to the actual bill; note that the words internet, gun show or private sale are not even mentioned in it.

The actual bill's opening description says it all:

[QUOTE]To ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the national instant criminal background check system and require a background check for every firearm sale, and for other purposes.
