So then you're against requiring identification for voting? You're against permits to exercise the right to congregate in public space? You want to require a rape victim to be prosecuted by the defense attorney for her previous sexual history?If I should commit an actual crime with a gun then, by all means, I should be prosecuted, yet to be said to be committing a "crime" by simply not having rented permission, from the state, in advance to exercise a Constitutional right is insane.
We place limits on rights all the time, limits which work proactively. To say we cannot do the same for an inanimate object involved in the deaths of thousands of Americans every year seems incredibly illogical to me.
