    RIP Thatcher.

The morality of abortion is not a religious belief, any more than the morality of slavery, apartheid, rape, larceny, murder or arson is a religious belief. These are norms of the natural law of mankind and can be legislated even in a completely religionless society.

Not exactly jumping, but I'm not mourning. The most divisive and destructive British politician of my lifetime. Good riddance.

This is tragic. There won't be any real news on tv for weeks.

Yes it is about time.. not because who she was in the past, but who she was in the present. She had dementia and failing health.. that is not life and I would not wish it on my worst enemy (not that I have any).

Oh yes I was. Jailed twice for protesting against her police state; once supporting the miners, once for opposing her Falklands adventure.
