Didn't intend to offend. I was referring to your leadership, not British people as a whole, and unfortunately, we're following your lead in lock-step.

Reality makes them so, me saying it just validates reality.

Bookmarking this thread for the next time a liberal dies. Apparently tossing some of the vitriolic, most hateful things you can think up after a person dies because you disagree with their politics is what all the cool kids are doing nowadays.

    I'll add an eighth point:

She perpetuated the Troubles in Northern Ireland by banning free speech and dispensing with democracy, unconstitutionally banning the democratically-elected representatives of the Catholic community from taking their seats in Westminster.

In Britain we're not as partisan as you.

This has less to do with the retarded Conservative - Liberal Universe you guys want to live in, in the states.

And more to do with her individual actions as Prime Minister.

Alot of Britons do not like her... I feel like some of them in this thread could take a chill pill on it... but then again I wasn't there and their feelings may well be justified.

has nothing to do with her politcal lean its what she did her her time in office, she splits public opinion to this day in the UK.
You would need to know a little about Britain in the 80's and the aftermath of Thatcher before you jump in on this thread and start judging people.

The comments in this thread are very, very mild in comparison with the hatred and scorn poured out in the Chavez threads of just a few weeks ago.

Sure seems that way. That kind of vitriol should be reserved for the truly evil, not for those we have political disagreements with.
