Not only do you get your opinions from pop culture, it's pathetic pop culture!

Jesus, is this the lamest post of the month or what?

Just like Thatcher you seem to find in Morrissey everything you hate: a literate self-made man from the North who made laughingstocks of Tory knownothings (and who made more money!)

You mean a pissant wannabe that made his career by playing contrarian to popular figures of the time? Ah well, I suppose there's room for every taste or lack thereof.

Wow the hate is strong in this one. For a singer!

Meanwhile I suspect Thatcher and Reagan have been reunited -- in a very uncomfortabley place. They can play Cold Warriors in hell together.

    That's who you're quoting! A singer!

The irony is probably lost on you.

No, hate is YOUR thing. I just don't think much of his music or believe he's all that with it in his commentary.

You'd be the last person I'd trust to make that judgement - too much hate.

I'm saddened to hear this news. IMO, whether one agrees or disagrees with her, she was a courageous leader who took on some very big issues. She refused to allow the NUM to break the British government and she refused to abandon her constituents in the distant Falkland Islands when the Falklands were invaded. Perhaps bigger than any other role, she played an instrumental role in a unique convergence of leaders (U.S., Soviet, German, and British) in helping engineer a peaceful end to the Cold War.

    May she rest in peace.
