    rest in peace.

    what he had to endure in the last several years would floor most of us. he endured it with class, and kept writing the whole time. best wishes and prayers for him and his family.

    i was able to listen to part of "Fresh Air" on friday where they did a program on ebert.

    i actually enjoyed listening to it even thou don't really care about what movie critics think.

    Yes, exactly. I don't want to provide a link, but if you've seen any footage of Ebert post-cancer and reconstruction, you can't help but be humbled.

    I agree as I tended to side wtih Siskel's take on a movie.

    But give the man his dues he was one hell of a fighter. Sometimes the hand dealt to us just doesn't seem fair.

    I've seen. he lived and thrived past the point where I might have given up. he's a stronger man than me.
