Yeah, and I have been checking some of the military sites to see if they have come up with anything on it. I hate when these So called Officials say something and we can't have their names due to they are not authorized to release such Officially. I would be like to late now.....here you are talking about this as you wanted someone to know something.

The US mainland is vulnerable if subs are missing. The Pacific Ocean is huge.

Some say the real concern would be if they could get a Device into the US in Parts.....then Put it together here. Hence why the worry about miniaturization. As then all they need is a small amount of Plutonium.

Which btw we also don't know what Isotopes they are using.

most people don't hate "foreigners", only the ones who come here illegally. the fact that most of them are mexican is irrelevent. but hey, any chance to make any issue about "race" can't be let to slip past.

I find it sadly amusing that Mexico has a very strict southern border to keep out "illegals" but yet we are somehow "racist" and evil for wanting to do the exact same thing on our southern border.

odd that when the mexicans catch an american in their country illegally, they throw them in prison. when americans catch a mexican in their country illegally they give them welfare, free medical, an education, etc, etc, etc,

and then people wonder why we have a problem with illegal immigration.

I'm with you on the sub-issue. My oldest is in the Navy and I try to needle out of him as much possible any information I'm not supposed to know. New tech, new weapons. He won't crack but tells me with all of our fighters, Bombers, infantry, special forces etc, what enemy countries are absolutely afraid of is our Navy and especially our Ohio class Sub's that can park off their coast undetected and rain in destruction in a matter of minutes. Hell, we might have already taken care of those two subs.

I expect we have at least one parked right off the Korean Peninsula Coast right about now.
 
Interesting that how many media outlets and government agencies arent taking these threats too seriously at this point*. I've got to admit Kim Jong Un's statements do have an element of 'No believe me I really am going to do it this time, and I'm running away from home too!' to them. This is possibly not unrelated to the fact that the DPRK gets more money every time it kicks up a fuss.

Sorry, we should protect our borders like any other Country. Like Mexico protects their Southern Border. They're NOT immigrants, they're here illegally.

We must be taking it seriously we moved a Missile Defense System to Guam, while Sending Raptors over and putting a ship off the Coast. Plus flying B2's from the US to S.Korea for a Test run.

People are taking precautions sure but if you literally believed that, in the DPRK'S own words 'The moment of explosion is near' there would be evacuation orders on major cities and the like.

Not really.....as Sun Tzu stated. Never underestimate the Enemy. So basics are covered and now it is on Un or those behind him to make a move. Also have to look we just moved about a resources around while under Sequester as well.

I don't think you understand my point, I'm not saying that people should not take precautions, I'm saying that if the DPRK's statements where taken at face value people in both SK and the US would be running for the hills right now

All that you mentioned are legitimate concerns, and I don't think that simply wanting to prevent Mexican immigration is racist (although I don't necessarily agree with it)

It's just that some of the complaints, like they're here to steal our jobs and are pathological criminals, were also lodged 100 years ago by racists against different immigrants...notice the pattern?

Anyway, back to the topic. That Kim Jong-Un, huh?

this Kim is too young to understand a damn thing. All he is doing is trying to stroke is own ego by saying things that people around him would frankly suck his pee pee over. What's scary is it's entirely believeable that he'd do this and drive this whole thing beyond a tipping point.

No ****. Nevermind that those "Mexican immigrants" or immigrants from New Spain were here about 100 years prior to the landing of the pilgrims. Hell, this United States city I live in now was founded by these "immigrants" before the pilgrims landed.

I'm advocating that at some point we, and by we, I mean you, me, everyone...need to acknowledge that we all share responsibility for the wellbeing of others in our society.
