This is now a death-penalty case, and the judge has removed himself: "Within minutes of it becoming official [prosecutors declaring that for James Holmes "Justice is death"], the trial was pushed back from August to next February and Judge William B. Sylvester removed himself from the case, saying that now that the charges carry the death penalty they will take years to resolve and he does not have the time to devote to such a drawn-out matter."

We agree on that. What we disagree on, is whether, or not this clown is mental ill.I believe in a society that doesn't murder or inhumanely punishes the mentally ill. We simply disagree.
Until trial, we'll never know what the opinions of various mental health professionals are as it relates to his mental capacity. Considering the psychiatrist who was seeing him before this incident was so concerned about his mental health that she warned the university and considering his affectation since, I think there's a strong possibility this man is severely mentally ill.
