What will happen, you think, if she never answers the door? Can the police force her to open the door? For her to be served?

Excellent question, but beyond my knowledge. How do you force the victim to testify for the defense? Seems to me the court might have to subpoena her.
 
They'd better watch her. I know that she hasn't been arrested yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if they went to her house one day and she was gone.
