Assuming real evidence is even required to start another war. I hope Obama has better judgement than the last guy.

Obama doesn't have the balls to launch an invasion, even with solid evidence. He's too busy destroying America from within; a war would unite the country and his agenda can't afford that.

The islamofacist fanatics are ready to die for their cause and I say we accomadate them every chance we get.
The Japanese were willing to die for their cause too, but them atom bomb put the fear of god into, that or the emperor was more concerned about losing his royal family jewels in a invasion and came to terms.

We helped rebuild Japan, South Korea and Germany and now they are staunchest allies.

Russia and China are their friends. Let them save them. I could care less who gases who in Syria. If they kill each other off, it will save us a lot of money and blood.

Right, because not only did we help with reconstruction, we killed off everyone that hated the United States. See how that works?

Interview with Gen. Jay Garner -
So the constabulary forces never materialized, and the decision was made not to bring back the Iraqi army
    - Interviews - Lt. Gen. Jay Garner (ret.) | The Lost Year In Iraq | FRONTLINE | PBS

Another interview with Gen. Jay Garner -

Question: And at this point, what had happened to your request for the largee training and advisory group(to work with Iraqi police)? Had that been approved?
Garner's Answer: No, it wastn't approved. It was held in abeyance. Frank Miller, who worked for Condolezza Rice, did not aggree with that. He didn't think - and whatever reasons I never quite understood - but Frank Miller did not believe that need that largee footprint. And so I went to see Dr. Rice probably in March - I don't remember now - and essentially briefed her on the difference between what I thought was the right footprint and what Frank Miller thought was the right footprint. And I asked her not to make a determination againstt me at that time; just leave it open, and when we got ther, I would call her and would report back and give them a realistic number.
No End in Sight: Iraq's Descent Into Chaos - Charles Ferguson - Google Books

When Garner got to Bagdad after the initial invasion, the entire police force was gone. OHRA worked to find and recall them, but was only able to get 40% back. After Garner was dismissed and Bremer was brought in, he came with Bernard Kerik, who would then be in charge of the Iraqi police.

Kerik: There was an internal momentum - not by me, by other...... to abolish the Iraqui Police... like they did the Iraqui military....

Check out page 241 or Kerik's full account of his thought on disbannding the Iraqi police and that process.

Certainly you are not suggesting that Syrians will ever become staunch allies of the United States, right? Or Iran. Or Iraq. Or Afghanastan. Those Islamaniacs hate our guts. Nothing is going to change that. Especially blowing up their children into tiny pieces.

Some might argue that it was intellectualism that made Nazism possible, and wisdom/hindsight that defeated it.

We did not have to invade Japan because even fanatics have limits.
