WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, called President Barack Obama a liar and urged her party to stand by conservative values, rousing the crowd at a conservative conference on Saturday.
"Barack Obama promised the most transparent administration ever. Barack Obama, you lie," the former Alaska governor said in an address to the Conservative Political Action Conference near Washington.

"More background checks? Dandy idea, Mr. President. Should have started with yours," she said in a speech peppered with one-liners and folksy language.

"We're not here to put a fresh coat of rhetorical paint on our party. We're not here to abandon our principles in a contest of government giveaways. That's a game we will never, ever win. We're here to restore America," she said.....snip~

Sarah Palin tells conservatives to branch out: ‘Stop preaching to the choir’

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. -- Sarah Palin may no longer hold public office, be a candidate for national office or have a paid contributor slot at a news network, but when put in front of a room full of conservatives, she still has no trouble riling up a crowd.

Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference here Saturday, Palin was interrupted more than half a dozen times by standing ovations throughout a short red-meat speech, where she dinged the Republican Party and called on the conservative movement to be more inclusive. Palin, who delivered the keynote address at the same event last year, argued that Republicans acted "too calculated" and "scripted."

"Even our guys in the GOP too often have a habit of reading their stage directions, especially these days. They're being too scripted, too calculated. They talk about rebuilding the party. How about rebuilding the middle class?" Palin said. "They talk about re-branding the GOP instead of restoring the trust of the American people. Now, we can't just ignore, though, that we just lost a big election. Came in second. Out of two. Second position on the dog sled team--it's where the view never changes and the view ain't pretty."

"But we need to figure out then, our job. What will we do next?" she added. "Let's be clear about one thing: We're not here to re-brand a party. We're here to rebuild a country."

"As conservatives, we must leave no American behind. And we must share our message of freedom and liberty to all citizens, even those who may disagree on some issues because there is solid common ground in fighting against government overreach and for independence. And those who disagree with us on some issues, they're not our enemies, they're our sisters and brothers. They're our neighbors and friends."

"It's time we all stop preaching to the choir," she said, "and let's grow.".....snip~

Does anyone still care what she thinks? She's yesterdays news.

There's a thread on this speech from each side of the aisle.

Have to wonder why that party keeps rewarding their failures.

Palin 2016, yee haw!

Palin is not only a liar, but deceived many people in her TV show. She's a self-aggrandizing idiot who's in hot pursuit of making herself important in a country where the majority consider her a fool.

BTW, how much plastic in your face it TOO much plastic in your face?

You know, given enough years even the cast of Twilight finally stopped appearing in front of my face.

You must be really ticked off at Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, I guess, since they just won't go away either.

But they were presidents who at least did and still are doing some good for the world. Palin was a candidate of VP, and only serves her own self interests now.

I know that Bill was stumping for Obama, but when was the last time Carter was in the news? Even if both appeared in the news an hour ago, it's not their purpose to essentially troll liberals while racking up the lulz for conservatives, which as far as I can tell is her main function.

She was the Governor of the largest state in the USA. And yeah, I would do that.

She was the governor of only the humans in Alaska, which had a population of 731,449 people in 2012. Thee are 18 cities in America with a population higher than Alaska's population. She failed to complete the tasks of being Alaska's Governor, and resigned. She really can't be called nearly as much of a success as the mayors of 18 cities. Now if she were governing the landmass, and caused it to be so large, it would be impressive on her resume' that she was the governor of the largest state. But she didn't govern the landmass, and Alaska is the same size it has been since it became a state.

How did she deceive anyone in her show?

She did fine as governor and decided to resign on her own after her state, with their small population, was inundated with frivolous lawsuits from leftists. She left it in the capable hands of her Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell. Anyway, after that she roused the Conservative and Tea Party members to vote Republican in what became a blowout victory in the 2010 midterms.

She's still very significant today, mainly because Liberals can't stop talking about her, but also because she's helping to get people elected. People like Ted Cruz. Yep....remember that name.

When he accused Obama of Wide Spread abuses of Human Rights in 2012. ;)

Gotta love liberal respect for women.

Maybe if Sarah sheds a tear and gives that mope look like Hillary did.....she can garner some sympathy from the left for being such Blue Meanies!
