Before the recent struggle I couldn't actually FIND them sold anywhere except for the commissary - kind of hard to buy something that isn't stocked at all. Might be part of hte problem - they're a classic but availability is highly limited.

Not like I need to eat 12 twinkies anyway.

I don't eat that type of stuff very often, but when I want it, Hostess is the brand I like. Not so much the twinkies, but the little chocolate covered donuts, and their coffee cake snack. :mrgreen:

I know several musicians that are going through withdrawal, so they will be happy to see them back on the shelves.

I thought it was funny that people were paying $50 bucks a box for twinkies and never stopped to realize that the brand would be back. They thought twinkies were going away forever...

There is a demand for twinkies - hence twinkies will be produced.
 
Yeah, the previous company had all sorts of problems stretching back many years. They failed to adapt to changing times and economic downturn. But a product in demand will be produced by somebody, somewhere.
