Cincinnati poll worker charged with voting half dozen times in November

I did tell the truth. It happens on both sides. What else do you want me to say.

Perhaps you can use some imagination and try to come up with a solution that would work for everyone.

The 'everybody does it' excuse died a long and unpleasant death long ago. Please don't try to revive it.

Im not excusing this type of behavior.
I have people representing me to find solutions for societies ills. I pay them too.

Post from whatever site you want, as long as it presents the facts and its opinions are based on facts.

But you see, people are biased and emotional and will try to pass opinion as fact, or purposely mislead or take things out of context.

This was a straight forward case, what is biased or emotional about it? If anything it is your own response to it that fits the bill of biased and emotional.

I am all for it, as long as we can get liberal politicians to quit messing with the military vote. Also, while we are at it let's put a stop to this early voting crap that is exploited by the left, to swing the vote, and I believe commit fraud. As well as, these ACORN style groups that like roaches were broken up and scattered, and opened up the same crap under a myriad of different names.

That's a start anyway.
Hahahah "the votes don't go my way so get rid of early voting!"

How does the early vote lend itself to fraud more than any other absentee ballot? And how do you secure absentee ballots but give a free pass to military votes? Military personnel are incapable of fraud? I thought you wanted to secure the elections, man.

I say allow in-person voting for the entire month of November. Keep the polls open the whole month. Sure, it's more expensive, but voting is the most fundamental right we have in a democracy, because it's democracy's defining factor.

Well, a case here, a case there...No big deal, just ignore it...is the liberal call on fraud at the polls. My question is how long will society put up with corruption in our elections?

Progressives don't care...

Their ideology is "by any and all means necessary' if that means stomping on the Bill of Rights and Constitution just so they can have their way they will do it...

Progressives are selfish people who have their own unique utopia and they want government to enforce that "utopia" the only problem beyond their own self-infatuation is that there are 150,000,000 of them who believe they all have the right utopian idea and once they destroy the rest of us who truly respect freedom and basic standards (The Bill of Rights) they will destroy themselves...

This **** is Lord of The Flies....

Hey, I'm not the one giving a free pass to absentee ballot fraud, which is the vast majority of voter fraud. The conservatives supposedly wanting to secure elections with ID laws just skip right over the fact that none of these cases they bring up would have been stopped by ID laws. And by sheer coincidence, ID laws being proposed by Republican legislatures are occurring in a manner that would have disproportionate impact on Democrat voters.

(for example, making sure those IDs are harder to get in blue counties)

Yeah, I think that is right...We need to expose them so that they find their way back under the rock they came from after a hundred years of underground hiding.

Says the man who opposes early voting because it swings Democrat. Any other ways you want to rig elections in the name of securing it?

A lot of money is staying in the US but a lot of it is leaving, precisely because there are lower taxes and better opportunities opening elsewhere. No serious person who has accumulated wealth over the years would want to invest in America under this administration.

Certainly Americans with money are as patriotic as anyone else but there is a limit to what they can endure, and how they will invest.

Their whole ideological premise is selfish and every idea they have begins with "I think" and ends with "therefore it should be illegal."

They want to dictate everything, but then turn around and claim they're "liberal." They're not liberal they're all authoritarian.. The best part is they actually have the audacity to claim they're tolerant... Of course they cant tolerate people who drink sodas, fat people, smokers, libertarian views, republican views - no they only tolerate what THEY agree with. In my book that isn't tolerance.

I totally agree with you Grant...

I've been saying what you just posted for the last decade..

Obviously the issue is a lot deeper and complicated than that but that is a good assessment without getting too deep into the meat.

I cant say I'm too concerned about money, I'm more concerned with labor force and spending/buying power because the value of the dollar is only worth as much as those who make and spend a dollar.

What was the argument against same-sex marriage, again?

We had a state legislature gal who first voted absentee a week or two early and then voted again on election day.

Uh, this just shows that double voting is easy to detect. It won't steal elections.

You're arguing against yourself. You can't sway an election by double voting. It is always caught.

We had a state legislature gal who first voted absentee a week or two early and then voted again on election day.

So they caught her.

So much for the GOP's pretense that double voting is a problem. The real problem is purging rolls, which is the GOP technique.

What was the argument against same-sex marriage, again?

I don't have an argument against same-sex marriage... I could care less about marriage - In my opinion government should play no role in marriage. Marriage is a religious sacrament to me - not a government oversight.

Morally I'm opposed to same-sex marriage but I'm not socially/ethically opposed to the idea because I don't care what other people do just as long as they're not hurting me, my family or friends.

The way we purge voter rolls down here is if a person hasn't voted in any election, presidential, congressional, state, local, sales tax or what ever in 6 years, they are removed. This give the registered vote any where from 20-25 elections to cast a vote in before removal from the rolls.

Most voter fraud occurs via absentee ballot. For some reason, the right wingers do not propose tightening those. Maybe because absentee swings slightly red?

Really? Is that why Dems usually try to disenfrachise absentee ballot voters.....say for instance the military? Making all kind of difficult procedures to make certain that the military can't fully vote? You're probably right.

Wow, is that what it says? More of that clairvoyance of yours.

So you admit that early voting is a demo scheme to tilt the vote...

That must be why ACORN focused on registration fraud.

And how would IDs have prevented that? Electoral fraud and voter fraud are apples and oranges.

EDIT apparently they are the same in this circumstance. But how would someone with access to the system (presumably could be the one checking IDs) be verified via ID?

Well, a case here, a case there...No big deal, just ignore it...is the liberal call on fraud at the polls. My question is how long will society put up with corruption in our elections?

I think a single person voting twice is an entirely reasonable thing to ignore.

So you admit that early voting is a demo scheme to tilt the vote...

Its a way for more people to vote, which can be nothing but a good thing, this is a democracy after all.
