if Florida stops switching its clocks completely, no time will be gained or lost. I'm not sure where the confusion is here.

Eventually in a "rogue time state" (hahaha never thought I would use such language) after several years it would be 3am when every other states watch reads 1pm..
Holy **** you are goddamn retarded aren't you?

So if this proposal happens here's what will occur, Florida will move their clocks forward one hour ONCE, not once per year, not twice per year, a SINGLE DAMN TIME and never move them again
All other states, except Arizona, will continue to move their clocks one hour forward in the spring and on hour back in the fall.
This will leave Florida one hour ahead of the other states within its timezone between the months of November to March and on the same time as other states within its timezone for the other months of the year.

I think a child would understand this better than you.

    You still don't understand.

There is a difference between moving your clock twice a year and once a year - a numerical difference in time everyday.

you still don't understand. the Florida proposal would move the clocks zero times per year, not one.

Time will be lost. The clock doesn't stop counting - we do. That is why we use leap years instead of consistently turning our clocks back every .000000000003 of a second.

We with our timezones use a basic remedial solar time system that applies to us and can be easily understood.

and Florida will still be pegged to every other time zone on earth. it simply will stop swapping the hour twice a year.

It doesn't matter... That is simply why they would be two hours off.

Isn't there a random clock in your house that hasn't been reset in years?? it reads the wrong time right?

How you think clocks get off time? they're broken? no- no one adjusted them forward or backwards for years.

Using your theory the clock should be either on or off by an hour... Of course the minute hand will always be correct but the hour hand wont...

    No you're wrong...

Go look at an old watch or clock you have had for years and see if it tells the correct time - it doesn't...
