Agreed. If the threat of being thrown off the plane at 35,000 feet doesn't serve as an incentive to good behavior, I don't know what will! Although you will have your inevitable whiners who would ask for a parachute. They should just be told there is no money for extras like that!
Good afternoon Lady Polgara.....back in the day. I use to take my chute with me. Not that I would be about starting any trouble. Just sayin.

I'm so sick of hearing about TSA officials frisking some elderly, disabled, or young person for ridiculous reasons. That elderly woman isn't going to knit an Afghan....that man in the wheelchair won't have bombs in his crap bag...and that child isn't about to launch a mustard gas bomb from her Barbie!

    It is all so infuriating
I would definitely agree with you on getting Rid of Both.....good thing people are recording and catching the TSA. I saw that one piece on the TSA searching a 3yr old girl in a wheelchair. The little girl was crying the whole time plus she had spinal bifada and the TSA is trying to get her to raise her arms. What about a jerks. It's chit just like that that makes one want to go off on a TSA piece of meat.

A family member of mine works in the insurance industry and she said that airplane staff have the highest propensity for alcoholism of any employment demographic. She has flight attendants and pilots on disability for alcohol addiction up the wazoo who are attending AA.

(Dentists apparently have the highest suicide rate.)

You cant even swing a golfclub in a plane plus it would be very easy to get to the outside or inside of the weighted part of the club. With a golf club you would have to land "that one strike" unless someone was just passively standing there doing nothing.
But what about those lil Souvenir bats? Somebody could get killed getting hit in the head with that.

I'm misunderstanding you it seems. You seemingly are saying that it's stupid to try to take away small knives, souvenir baseball bats, etc...and then call TSA nuts, despite the fact that they are no longer trying to take away small knives, souvenir baseball bats, etc.

FFS. Sorry, Jon Adler drives me crazy.
Why does he do this to you? What did he say that you disagree with?
