Quite an about face for the GOP, and I applaud them for it. No, we cannot spend our way out of our fiscal troubles, we cannot tax our way out, and we certainly can't cut our way out. Everything needs to be on the table, cuts as well as revenues. This is the Republican Party of old coming back, and if this passes both houses, I am sure it will be signed by Obama, and the bleeding of GOP support will finally stop. They are finally coming to their senses. Folks, this is a good compromise. The right isn't happy, the left isn't happy, but, to use the Goldilocks analogy, this is just right.
