Escort says Menendez Prostitution Claims Were Made Up

FBI agents conducting interviews in the Dominican Republic have found no evidence to back up the tipster’s allegations, according to two people briefed on their work

The Washington Post mistook one prostitute for another Monday in a report that initially seemed to debunk a November 2012 Daily Caller exposé of New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez.

While the Post said it had an affidavit from a woman in the Dominican Republic admitting she fabricated claims Menendez paid her for sex, that woman was not one of the two prostitutes TheDC interviewed for a Nov. 1 report.

SO...not really following this story but just to check the scorecard...the OP is offering that the whore that initially was unreliable and couldn't be trusted is NOW reliable and can be trusted because she is saying what he wants her to say...but in fact the whore he is citing as newly cleansed and 'reliable' was not in fact the whore making the initial allegations.

All having little to do with the fact that the congressman in question went on numerous paid trips to the DR (until he was caught at which time he 'paid' for them and made it all better).

That's not the question. The FBI has no proper role in exploring minor crimes such as prostitution that occur in another country. It takes the USA as the police-of-the world over the edge. Way over.

It's amazing isn't it? The extent to which Democrats will go to trash one of their own... I guess someone was hoping this would provide the final straw to his history of ethics violations. Perhaps someone has an eye on his Chairman's gavel.

Well, she certainly ruined the beginning of the case. Unfortunately for both her, and others involved, it's going to make the feds and police more determined to get to the bottom of this case. Hope he's good at cleaning up those pesky closet skeletons, because it's all going to come to light.

Keep those Michelle Bachman, Sharon Engel, Christine O'Donnnel, Ken Buck, Todd Akin, Richard Mourdack, Rick Santorum, Herman Cain (this is a long list...) candidates coming and it will be the Dems that continue to do all the laughing.
 
This story was broke by and pushed hard by the Daily Caller. A piece of crap punidtry site founded by a piece of crap falling star Tucker Carlson. And I can't wait to see what this investigation turns up as far as who is behind the funding the framing of Senator Menendez.

If they investigate and find Menedez hired whores... he should resign.

The hiring of whores in my opinion is not enough to resign over. If they were indeed underage than yes.

What cracks me up is people trying to blame the GOP and then saying "They won't last long now." as if this somehow has anything to do with the GOP at all.

Personally, I think prostitution shouldn't be illegal being that it's a transaction between consenting adults... however, this guy is writing laws for the rest of us and as such we should expect him to adhere to them.
