Former Gov. Jeb Bush Not Ruling Out 2016 Campaign For Presidency

Jeb really doesn't have a great Presidential presence--he is too dentist not enough heart surgeon-ish.......

Yep! We'll have to muzzle some of them...it's too bad that an entire party can be paintbrushed, but it happens on both sides! :(

Exactly, but somehow it has seemed over the last few election cycles the Democrats seem to be able to come up with the better candidates. Their candidates seem to be able to win seats in red states where as the GOP can't do the same in blue states. Perhaps it is more important to nominate an ideology pure candidate than one that can win. I don't know but that is something that probably I should check out.

I was out working in the back yard today, I noticed the grass needs cutting. But that is a good sign that winter is over here. It also means the beginning of tornado season.

Quite a tradeoff you live with...I'd pass if I were you! And remind me what grass looks like...will I recognize it if I ever see it again? :lamo

Brown did win once in Massachusetts, surprising everyone at the time, cause that was an important one! :)

Its green.

Yes, and Romney won the governors officer there in what probably is either the most Democratic state or close to the most Democratic state in the nation. Brown won in a special election and they typically do not draw many voters, probably a lot of Democrats stayed home thinking their candidate would win easily since most democrats in Massachusetts win with 65-70% of the vote state wide.

So is my neighbor's car...that's not much help

What can I say, grass is the stuff that doesn't need its windshield scraped and doesn't slide on ice. I am really surprised byou can see your neighbors car through all that white stuff.

It's just an act. He's from CT....................

Exactly. Former Presidente Vincent Fox called Bush a "windshield cowboy" – a cowboy who prefers to drive. Fox offered a ride on one of his palominoes but George was scared the death of the big horse.

Big Hat No Cattle.

I laughed through both Bush terms: Nothing looks as stupid as a Yankee pretending to be one of "them".........................

Oh, I dunno. Dukakis in the tank and Kerry in the astronaut bag were both epic.

More news re: Jeb Bush.

I'm not going to vote for him.

The last thing this nation needs is more Clintons, Bushes or other political families in office. If all America can do is pick the brother/son of former presidents this nation is cluster****ed even more than I can imagine, and I do imagine this nation is pretty cluster****ed. Off hand I would dismiss Jeb Bush just because of the fact that America does not need a third Bush president. Period. It doesn't need another Clinton or another Obama or another any family member of a previous administration.

Why in the name of all things holy would anyone even consider political dynasties in the United States?

Right. Except Bush won. Which made it painfully clear that the national IQ had taken a real drop...............................

I agree, but there are a lot of people in Texas who love the Bushes. Texas pride can be fickle that way.

In nominating Gore and Kerry the Dems found candidates even less impressive.:wow:

In the same way that the Right effectively destroyed California's cultural hegemony in the 70's, the Left needs to destroy Texas' now.............

I like Al Gore. I think he would have made a great president. I've told you that before.............................

If the only thing Texas can offer are Bushes and Perry, I'd rather not see any candidates from Texas.

Maybe it's the Yankee in me, but Southerners look and sound like total freaks to me........................

You've told me a lot of things before. Gore would have been catastrophic. After 9/11 he would have asked for surrender terms. And then there's the global warming nonsense.:fueltofir

Right. Or maybe he would have called the Saudis on the carpet for running a freak state, instead of making out with their King, like Dubya......................

What a silly comment.
