"I have a voice, I want to share my beliefs about how the conservative movement and the Republican party can regain its footing, because weve lost our way," former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-Fla.) told Matt Lauer of NBC's "TODAY Show" on Monday.

"I wont [rule out running] but Im not going to declare today either," Bush also said.
The most important Repub decision of 2016 will be when Jeb decides whether to run himself or continue to sponsor Marco Rubio.

my guess is that he doesn't have a chance. i watched an interview with him tonight; he seems to be a good speaker, and i'm sorry for him that his brother poisoned the well somewhat. however, he's most likely another supply-side-only true believer, and that's not something i can support.

IMO, Jeb should run with Rubio as his running mate.

Good evening, Jack, like your smilie!

Unfortunately it's unconstitutional for POTUS and VPOTUS candidates on the same ticket to be from the same state. Good evening, Polgara.

What about if one of them moves in the meantime? I'm not being snarky, but 2016 is a ways off....

Really? I did not know that. Where is it in the Const? I would like to see that. Not doubting you, I am just curious.

From where I sit, Jeb would be a better president than his dad or his brother - but that's a faint praise indeed.

In terms of political tactics, he would be a great Early Distraction: faint a serious campaign, make all the "liberal" media wet themsleves in a frenzy of newly-found Bush-bashing - then step aside, and make the actual nominee look fresh and immune to all the nonsense attacks.

Evening Polgara.....do you think the Bush name will hurt Jeb? Also, are you having a good day?
