The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), one of the most powerful lobbying organizations in Washington, is expected to urge the US Congress to maintain financial support for Israel in its annual convention. The group, which is made up of over 12,000 delegates, will try to make sure that the annual $3bn US military aid package to Israel will not be jeopardised as Congress carries out across-the-board spending cuts. Hmm AIPAC pushing a bill that any military measure they take would automatically get the green light from the US as long as it is "defensive"? Really? Sounds ridiculous, sounds like almost Israel is trying to make us a puppet of theirs. Also begging the US not to cut the 3 billion a year to Israel? We need to cut funding. They can defend themselves. Ohh whats missing from these talks Palestinian/Israel peace talks? How interesting.
