No they don't, if you were right this wouldn't even be an argument.

The simple fact waivers were issued means something...

Waivers were issued, but not to congress. Seriously, it's a public record written right into the law.

It seems republicans are denying Obamacare while democrats are lining up to abuse it.
Funny enough, it seems that some high level dems actually believed that Obamacare would live up to its promises. Just this week, Donna Brazil found herself confused as to why her healthcare bills were going up after passage of the "affordable" healthcare act.

HA..haha...hahahaha. Wow...I love this move. PLEASE...oh please let a lawmaker get busted. If you want to regulate...get regulated. LOVE IT!

I am cool with that.If other government employees have to take a piss test then so should our elected officials. They are not special.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Damn. Force, huh?
How are you going to force the other representatives to do what the person you voted for campaigned on?

Except to elect someone else in the next election.

Well as we have a whole slew of laws that have gotten passed which were what the people wanted/supported I think that proves your point wrong.
Secondly. Those who are elected should be doing what is best for this country, if that coincides with what the people want, all the better.
But you should not be passing laws for the sole reason that it is what the people want.

And again. We already have it.

That would be your deluded naivety.
    We live in a Republic.
You not liking that does not change it.
You not liking the fact that people use their monies to lobby doesn't change that.

    Gain power?

Third parties will only gain enough representation when they appeal to large enough masses to be elected. Which is the case each and every time they do get elected.
It is the way it should be.

    I love it.

I know people who work for the states, their health care is great and their pensions vary from 1/2 - 3/4 salary for life.

Anything we can do to expose corrupt or lawbreaking government workers and take them off the doll is fine with me.
