Bob Woodward blasts President Obama ‘madness’

I can't prove a negative. Woodward, being a reporter, must show that there is merit to a claim he makes. See, this is actually a lot like science: in order for a theory to be valid, it must be supported by falsifiable evidence. Other scientists must be able to observe the phenomena, retest the theory, and examine the evidence for themselves. The problem with this story is that there is absolutely no way for anyone but Woodward, the source of the story, to confirm whether it's true or not. Because there's no evidence for anyone else to observe and falsify.

i will put it in an easier way......either hes lying, or he is not.

if he is lying, it is a serious problem to consider, if not, then their is no danger of any kind on this matter.

That depends on whether you have information on the mugger/pickpocket that the police or other witnesses can use to corroborate your claim. Otherwise there's no way anyone but you can know.

but you see, people claim things are true, which turn out to me false, and we have people accused of things ,they didn't do.

it is impossible for anyone to know it is a lie, or truth, only Woodward can say for sure.

i am not even saying its truth, i just posted a story......it could be either way, ..but if true, its a very-----> disturbing thing.

And now that you have, and see that there aren't any facts to support Woodward's claim, and nobody to corroborate his claim but himself, are you satisfied that this story is at an end? If not, where do you hope to see it go?

as i stated, it can be true, it can be false...........but being true is a very serious matter, and disturbing one.........being false it has no meaning.

Well, if corroborating evidence ever comes out in support of Woodward's claim, I'll be sure to take your lead and feel very disturbed. Until then, I'm going to watch House of Cards.

whole masses of people have been fooled.

do you not recalled a mother claiming her children were kidnapped, and had the nation even the world believing in her story.

people can be in the right even though they have no evidence to prove their case..as we know innocent people can still go to prison.

It's pointless to even engage them

This entire debacle is based upon Obama's inability to admit the sequester idea was his. All the sequester even is, is an increase in the rate of growth by 2%. Obama wants to pretend the sky is falling so he blame it on Republicans. It's all a political narrative. Woodward isn't playing along. The WH unleashes criminals upon the lawful public, and says Republicans want to starve little kids. His administration is waging a psychological game. If a 2% reduction in the rate of spending GROWTH = sky is falling then we're not even on the same planet as Liberals. They have lost their ability to use logic and reason.

The reason for all of the histrionics is to condition the weak minded that we need even bigger Government.

Pro-tip: if a story sounds too good to be true, it is. That's why if I bring up Huffington Post tomorrow to see the headline "Romney removes face to reveal Ming the Merciless," I'm going to be extremely skeptical even though it would totally validate my decision to vote for Obama.

Does Woodward have the credentials make that determination? If he doesn't he's a piss-poor journalist that states his opinion rather than facts.

i don't disagree with you it is only a cut in the rate of spending, ..government will still grow bigger, it always does.

and the sky is falling idea, as been used many times.

but my post was the story a lie or truth from woodward, its up to the reader......

Woodward has written many books, been in and out of the WH.

Robert Upshur “Bob” Woodward (born March 26, 1943) is an American investigative journalist and non-fiction author. He has worked for The Washington Post since 1971 as a reporter, and is now an associate editor of the Post.

While a young reporter for The Washington Post in 1972, Woodward was teamed up with Carl Bernstein; the two did much of the original news reporting on the Watergate scandal. These scandals led to numerous government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon. Gene Roberts, the former executive editor of The Philadelphia Inquirer and former managing editor of The New York Times, has called the work of Woodward and Bernstein "maybe the single greatest reporting effort of all time."[1]

Woodward continued to work for The Washington Post after his reporting on Watergate. He has since written over a dozen books on American politics, most of which have topped bestsellers lists.
