but my post was the story a lie or truth from woodward, its up to the reader......
If Obama is already lying about the sequester, I'll go ahead and give Woodward the benefit of the doubt on this one

After all it was the left that said Woodward is the truth teller of Presidents when he criticizing the Bush Administration and the Nixon Administration. Woodward has credibility. Obama does not.

The only reason to believe Woodward is his reputation.
The only reason to believe Obama and his aides is their reputation.

Woodward seems believable for this reason, the WH doesnt seem believable for the same reason.

Maybe I misread the article, but doesn't it imply or even state, that Woodward took the "regret" comment as a veiled threat?

woodward, was been in the WH many times under obama, and given total excess, everywhere, and to many things.
That's kind of the point. All that access and he can't seem to say who threatened him?

Sending an aircraft carrier to the far ends of the earth is now "protecting the country"?. Woodward is full of crap.

The debate should be about why we spend over a trillion dollars a year on our military.

    Total Spending $1.030–$1.415 trillion
Is spending that much money really worth it?

    I think not.

Shouldn't you start a new thread for this new anti-Obama conspiracy theory?

Really? A journalist/reporter using the term "a senior White House source" is going out on a limb and doing something unprecidented? I'm sure if Woodward had said a "senior White House source" told him that staff noticed a halo above the President's head, you'd be casting it in stone as undeniably true.

No doubt your opinion is identical on entitlements, being the centrist that you are.

I think the point he was trying to make was that the president is being ineffectual and weak, and possibly for political affect

You do know that your buddy W is the one responsible for jacking up the bill on "entitlements". Right?
Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act[1] (also called the Medicare Modernization Act or MMA) is a federal law of the United States, enacted in 2003.[2] It produced the largest overhaul of Medicare in the public health program's 38-year history.
The MMA was signed by President George W. Bush on December 8, 2003, after passing in Congress by a close margin.
That was a RW president and a RW congress which gave us that doozie.

I'd love to see us cut "entitlements". But, we wouldn't have to if your favorite party hadn't spent our money like drunken sailors..
