Woman fired for having sex

Gee, if it's such a cult filled with hypocrites and other vermin, why the hell did she take a job there?

she's misguided, obviously. She must not be a "REAL CHRISTIAN", right?

Yes, she broke the policy. However, when you have a cult organization such as the church, where hypocrisy is rampant, I can not the religion seriously.
Before religion goes preaching, they need to get their house and sheep in order.

LOL at the one girl: "I mean, everyone sins" :rofl:rofl

Then you should stay away from interviewing for jobs there. It's really that simple. Not that they would want to hire you in the first place as anti-religion as you are.

Btw, you missed the implication of what the second girl said. She didn't object to the rules or the contract, she just thought the woman should be given another chance.

People can be born gay, and yet that same contract forbade her from being gay. Why do we tolerate **** like this from them?

I hope she sacks that place for everything they're worth.

The individual has right to contract.

What does it have to do with being a Christian or not a Christian? She breached a contract she freely signed. Why are you making so busy trying to divert blame from where it lies?

Well, if "we're all sinners" then no one should be working at that place, right? You follow the logic there?

No, i didnt miss the implication of the second girl. Im willing to bet she didnt want to say anything negative about the policy in fear that she may feel the wrarth of "god".

sinners!!! Lol

No. Her only excuse here for signing the contract is either she didn't read the contract and just signed it anyway or she is just stupid as hell. The former is pretty stupid though, so perhaps I'm just being redundant.

You know, if I were her and I had the income, I'd hire Gloria Allred too. Despite my distaste for her personally, if you want the publicity (which she does because her best chance is winning in the court of public opinion) she's the lawyer for you.

I think Allread works on contingency in a case like this, because it's cases like this one that bring in paying customers. I'm no fan. It's ambulance chasing at it's most refined. :2razz:

I agree! im not denying that she didnt break the rules. She should pay the consequence. However, just the notion itself is laughable. I mean, we have men of "god" molesting little kids. We have christians "sinning" everyday. This whole thing is really laughable. There's no credibility with religion with all of its hypocrisy. I know you dont like people poo pooing your fables, but really, get your own people in order first and quite using the excuse that "no one is perfect".

Where's the "personal responsibility" in christian right?

I didn't see too many people trash Al Davis for rescinding JaMarcus Russell's contract after having a few hundred too many Big Macs.

If you sign a contract, you follow it or you suffer the consequences. If you don't like the contract, don't sign it.

Don't like it? Learn to deal.

That's the thing though. The church(school) doesnt want sinners, so they wrote the "no sex policy".

What gave you the idea that I'm a spokesperson or apologist for the Christian right or any other religious group? My only comments have been related to personal responsibility and the consequences of one's actions. Maybe if more people on the left understood the concepts of accountability and responsibility we wouldn't have so many people in the world who have no respect for others and even less respect for themselves.

Wait, if she signed the contract so she could find out what's in the contract, she's not stupid, she's Nancy Pelosi!!

Give it up. You don't understand what religious folks are saying when they say we are all sinners. You seemingly cannot, hating religion as much as you apparently do. It's been explained to you before, but it goes right over your head.

Btw, wasn't a no sex policy - it's a no premartial sex policy.

My response wasnt directed particularly at you. More rhetorical.

Yes, those that are religious on the left are in the same boat when it comes to "personal responsibility" in their religion.

Ohh, I understand what they mean by "were all sinners". That's the get out of jail free card. Does jesus pass those out? LOL

Ohh, i dont hate religion, i just think it's rampant with hypocrisy.

yes, you are right, it was a no premarital sex policy and not a no sex policy. I wonder how many "christians" follow that in the premarital life? LOL

Well, luckily for those who don't care for Christian schools and their policies, there are other alternatives.

They also rescinded JaMarcus Russell's contract because he sucked at his job.

They didn't say that this chick sucked at her job, though maybe she did.

If part of her job description is to remain chaste...then yeah, I'd say she sucked at her job.

just curious, if someone was a beer drinker and was fired for drinking beer on their own time, would you say that they sucked at their job, too?

Why do they assume she had sex? Doesn't god father children anymore? Are virgin births out of fashion?

Holy Teri, Mother of God.

and maybe away from her job as well.

It wasn't part of her job description, it was a seperate morals clause. She did sign it, so I don't think she's really in the right here.

However, this only happened because she's a woman who got pregnant. If she were a man, or didn't get pregnant, she would not have been fired because nobody would have known.
